Aruba to Curacao on Divi Divi Air

We take an inter-island flight in the Netherlands Antilles, between the islands of Aruba and Curacao. This short 40 minute flight is on a Dehavilland DHC-300 Twin Otter. We depart early morning from a virtually deserted Aruba airport, and arrive in the pouring rain at Hato International airport in Curacao. This trip was taken in July 2023.

That plane journey Mark reminded me of when I flew from LA to Las Vegas back in 1980 - we had to get weighed before boarding to determine where you sat! Curacao sure seems like a fascinating place to visit with both Spanish & Dutch influence - should make the meals interesting!

I love flying in those little planes Dennis. I used to fly to “mainland Tasmania” in them to go to school. You get a real sense of flying. Curaçao is interesting. Much different to Aruba, and I hope to spend more time there in the future.

Did not go to Bonaire yet. Let me know how it is! I don't believe there are direct flights from Aruba to Bonaire. I believe they all transit CUR

Non-US departure Aeuba has over 57 destinations. Mainly latin america, the uk and the Netherlands. It may look smaller but it is just efficient. The US departure has many restrictions which makes it seems that is bigger and more destinations. Thanks for visiting our Islands❤.

Hi Mark, thanks for the video. When you land from Curacao to Aruba off Divi Divi Airline, do you know how long it takes to go the Aruba airport section for non-US bound passengers? We are trying to figure out which flight to take back from Curacao to Aruba to catch our flight back Canada (from Aruba Airport).

40 mins in the air. Checkin was a breeze at AUA because it's a separate checkin terminal. Hato in CUR is very modern, not what I was expecting

The flight between the ABC island is between 12 and 18 minutes. Depening on the weather.

Which islands are those? Between Curacao and Aruba it's about 40 mins from wheels up to wheels down

Bonaire to curaçao is 15-20min cur to aua is 40min
