This is my favorite ballad by them. Dany’s solo is one of her best. Wish they would perform it again.
I love that solo! I can't get over how melodic, sweet, and yet, unpredictable it is. Oh, and C.L.E.A.N! Dang! Beautiful song over all.
Just as Pau starts QOTMS, she ends it too. Dany Gilmour is a nickname that really sticks for her over the years, for a damn good reason. Don't count the Rock Cruise as a US show. It's a sold out week long 4 island hop with many bands and guests. $3k/tickets (Min) as they are sold in pairs only. They will have a cool colab night with many of them on the same stage at the same time. I really really want to see footage from that!! They will play the US again in 2024 for sure. I am not making any vacation plans until they release these new dates too! 🤘❤🔥🤘
When you hear The End in its proper place at the end(?) of the Queen Of The Murder Scene album, It just takes off to another level. And its great as a stand alone song.

The Miami date is actually a Rock Cruise not a normal show. It's been sold out for a long time I think. I'm hoping we get some behind the scenes of that one.

Tim, thanks for the shout-out! This will always be one of my favorite ballads by them, both for Paulina's vocal work and Dany's solo! Dany generally doesn't solo much, because she has so much other stuff going on, but when she does, it's usually pretty good! Heavy David Gilmour influence on this one!😍 🤘😎🤘
The show in Miami is most likely the Boat Rock cruise of the Caribbean. It's been sold out for a while. LOL. I'm not sure they are playing any gigs on land. If they are, please let me know. LOL

Yeah, you won't regret reacting to the concert. In between chapters, we get some of the best performances of, I think at least four songs, off of their XXI Century Blood album in between chapters. Let me know when you get aroud to it.

There will be US dates coming. I’ll bet the farm on it. They haven’t been announced yet, but don’t worry. As for this song, Dany’s solo could easily be twice as long. Such a plaintive wail, this song always got me very emotional. People always think I’m off my rocker but the guitar solo reminds me of a forlorn Neil Young solo. (I get that most people are going “Who is Neil Young”) 😅😅😅😅 Thanks and good luck upgrading your equipment.
Reminds me more of Clapton than Neil Young. In fact, I remember a couple of years ago a reactor felt that it sounded a lot like the solo in While My Guitar Gently Weeps (played by Clapton on the Beatles White album), kind of implying that she might have copied it, even if only unconsciously. I told him to listen to them back to back; though similar in rhythm and style, they are clearly different. 😎
@KansaSCaymanS oh absolutely they are different. I'm probably all washed up on the Neil Young comment, it's probably just the old school rock vibe. Whatever it is I love it. Fits the song like a glove

i love how the lyrics tell you to start (the album) over again, in a manner of speaking... referencing *Dust to Dust* , the prologue song at the funeral, and the other phrasing is very cool... it was also unintentional, on their part, but it worked out like that so yeah! let's run with it 😹
