I use to work for Armadillo taxi service for the Union Pacific railroad. Traveled all over from Salt Lake to Elko NV to Green River WY. While living in West Jordan UT. My wife hated it because I was never home. But I loved it always on the road. :)

It's so cool that these guys are sharing the exact same train. Showing more-or-less, the same stuff but the 'flavor' of the videos are different. It's really like a whole different experience and I'm loving it.

I used to live in Boulder, Colorado from 93-2022, I also used to work in Denver, Denver Union Station ONLY had one Train Track at the Time when they build the Rockies Stadium, they build a road RIGHT at the Union Station, Buses started to goes through there sometime the Bus stop for Amtrak passengers, NOW they have Multiple Tracks. I watched Mike Yesterday.

Yes Mike and I love traveling together. When we do these trips we film both as we help each other out and put different perspectives on both trips. We both have different styles and we want our viewers to see that. Thanks for joining us on the adventure!

I love this series Will! I've come back to yours and DownieLive's trip reports on the Zephyr and the Empire builder a few times because you two are so relaxing to hang with. You guys inspired me to travel by train and I've since ridden the Silver Meteor down South in a roomette and plan to do the Empire Builder this Fall.

Love this so much. Watched Mike's and love to see it from your perspective. I will say that I cannot imagine sharing a roommette, especially for two big guys. My sister and I (both under 140 lbs) require a bedroom. When I travel by train alone, the roommette is great, but if I have a companion I always get a bedroom! Love your video!

@@WillEdmond I’ve traveled on Amtrak when I was a kid (around 1970s). I remember riding from Miami, FL, to Charleston, SC, to see my grandparents. I have to take a trip by train soon.

I took the zephyr to Chicago then the Capitol limited back home to DC all in coach class. I can't wait to do it again, this time in a roomette.

You are absolutely right, riding trains "is about the peace and nature" you see along the route. I try to take a train trip every year and even trains I have been on before offer something different to see each time. Thank you for travel site.

I have to look up Loki because I've never watched Thor.
I have took the California Zephyr last winter from Chicago to San Francisco in December 2021 the train was very fantastic overall and a great view on the train.
I know you had an amazing experience. The train is a great way to travel.
It is very common for a Zephyr to be 10+ hours late. No other Amtrak train comes close. Even as I type this message there is one eastbound in Iowa that is 15 hours late and one in Colorado that is 11 hours late. It is unfortunately when they are so late that they go thru the Rockies and/or Sierra Nevada at night. BUT, there are still nice sites to see during the day. And if you have a room at least you get your money's worth on a delayed train.

You 2 are #AMAZING. I love your friendship and how you two just mesh. It was yours and Mikes videos that made me book my first long distance train trip in April. Long story short, it was canceled on the same day that it was supposed to depart. 😢😢😢😢😢. But I will book again once the fares come down again. Keep making these videos.

Rode the Zephyr for my first ever Amtrak trip. Didn’t even know it was called the Ca.Zephyr. Was in Lake Tahoe and rode it from Truckee to Emeryville. Found out many years later that I had been on the Zephyr.
