- This weekend we had a BLAST - lots of fun, giggles & banter. A quick visit to Diddley Squat Farm shop and a spot of eventing at another new venue under the Cotswold Cup events.

What a great vlog! You and Suzie are a hoot together! Love the sleeping in the trailer. Loved how much fun you had even before the event. Amazing job for you and Addie. She has matured into a lovely event horse. Her dressage was so very good. The 5s made me grumpy but I could see the lack of straightness. Other than those few missteps she was brilliant. Double clear!! I don’t know who is more excited you or Addie. She is so bold, some of those fences looked pretty big to me and neither of you wavered once. Congratulations on a well deserved second!
We had SO much all weekend, what eventing is all about ❤️ we learn from those mistakes and makes me excited that there's more yet to come xx
I was in absolute giggles for the first part of this vlog between your mom calling you out and you two getting told off for being loud 🤣 love you and Susie. And absolutely well done for a challenging event!! You and Addie are smashing it.

Addie clearly loves going Xcountry -- she was power walking toward the start box. And also, very nice on your dressage score too. You two are an amazing team. Given this was her first stay in a lorry, I'm guessing not, but was wondering...

Congratulations on your second place! You rode very well, and Addie looked so lovely and calm in the dressage, while having the desired springy gaits. What a great test from both of you! Show jumping looked almost foot perfect, with only the one deep spot (at least, that we could see. The horse walking in front of the camera hid your last jump. Actually, I think that rider was rude to ride in front of the camera when you are OBVIOUSLY being filmed! Maybe she was just oblivious). Anyway…. I had to laugh watching Addie fly out of the start box like a bat out of h*ll!😅 I really enjoyed the EquiReel footage. You and Addie smashed that course!! Fantastic !

We had a luch time in cornwall, as we have family in tregeseal, not fare from st just square cornwall. And my sister-in-law helps at the w.I .market on Saturday morrning. Omd Em that show jumping was so good , wow 28 dressarg ,x.c . Addey went a flyer out of the start box . Hopefully you all had a great time. That pizza looked amazing, Em ,Suzie have you ever been to the dog and rabbit cafe in st just square cornwall. Do you mind if I ask why you unloaded Addie off the back of the trailer rather than the front? I have a mare who LEAPS out the front door so have wondered if a backward exit would be a better alternative 😑🤪
For exactly that reason, she rushes out the front so quickly and I worry she'll hurt herself or me so have opted to take her out the back each time so it's much safer xx
@@emdeventing mine walks off a lorry or a left hand trailer exit, but my trailer is the same as yours with the right hand exit at the front and she just launches herself off it no matter what 🫠 good decision though, will try the rear exit for a while x
