It's great footage etc and must have taken alot of time to do it.
I appreciate that but I'm a miserable old fogey ( don't know how to spell fogey ) and it takes 5 seconds to moan and is very easy.

I would love to see a head to head comparison between this and the Royal Enfield Continental GT. I'm sure the Kawasaki is better, but is it almost $3,000 better?
I love the R-E 650s, but I've seen them both in person, and while it pains me to say it, yeah, the Kawi justifies the $3K price difference. It's absolutely gorgeous, and everything about it screams "premium".
good review man! that is a nice bike. Like others have said though, once the bike starts rolling, you should cut the music. i think it was fine when you were doing a walk around though

we lost it here in UK lucky we can still get a few of these cafe as they didn't sell so really good deals can be head on these now

DukeOfDC I’ve bought 13 or 14 bikes from them over the years. They aren’t my local dealer. My buddy’s and I have always liked your bike reviews. You’re even handed and fair in your assessments.
I just sold mine. Great bike BUT the bars ARE too low. Kawasaki quoted $1800 plus labor for higher bars, longer cables, electricals etc. If you have ANY doubts about them being too low go for the 2020 road version. Would be nice if they added a 6 speed box too. Seriously with the low bars most older chaps are looking at 1-2 hours only of comfortable riding. It's a real shame Kawasaki did not use components that could be more easily and cheaply swapped out.
Mike Kennedy - No, it's a real shame you didn't buy the W800 Street version. Nice comfy upright riding position. That's what this old fogey bought and I love it! Also, check out the W800 Classic model with mid height bars. Beautiful looking bike.

it will be modded to get 55-60hp is my guess. More character than Bonnie or Enfield IMO.
They (the Kawasaki heavy industries) made a café version, after 20 years of production, but they didn't transfer footpegs backwards, as should be on a café racer.
All frame changes refers only the rear disk break installation, not encreasing firm of the frame

How does this compare to a Ducati Scrambler?
I like the looks of this bike a lot but wish it had slightly different handlebars. I don't mind being leaned a little forward, but those bars seem really low and pushed forward. For the price I think a new bonnie is a better bet for just a little more dough. I've ridden the new Bonneville and the new Royal Enfield 650. I need to check out the Ducati scrambler cafe and the Moto Guzzi V7 before I decide on a new bike. I'll probably try this Kawasaki out as well. I think they have these over at Coleman Powersports in the DC area. Why did you go all the way out to Vally Cycles? Or do you live out that way?
We haven't lost the W800 you're riding. It's here for sale in the UK.

What's your inseam?
I have a 31" inseam and it fits me fine. The nice thing about this bike (and other models in the W series) is the tail end doesn't go way up in the air, so it makes swinging a leg over it to sit on the bike much easier than a sport bike or adventure bike.
Let the sound of the motorcycle come through and ditch the annoying music.

There's lots of other copyright free music out there. Shop around. That same track is on thousands of cheap videos. It's just too generic for bike videos.

Okay, thank you for the constructive criticism. I’ve made some positive changes to my most recent videos. Also, the cuts are kinda the name of the game on TH-cam. No one will watch uncut stuff, it’s too long and there’s too much time in between the scenes I need. I reduce the cuts though.

hi im a little confused as to what make of kawasaki i have ITS the EJ800B Then it says on the log book Variant C1. Version B. what does the variant C1 mean ? Then it goes on to say Model EJ800 CKF CAFE it's on the 2021 plate. call me thick or stupid it would just be good to know what the variant C1 means. hope you don't laugh to much at my stupidity. thanks DUKEOFDC.
