That was great! I'm an artist who works in acrylics. I am in awe of how good you are at such a fast and direct but still very high quality line you can brush draw. I got a good laugh at the caricature too.
I've made a couple of videos that give you tips on drawing Caricatures for beginners if you want to check it out. It will help if you want to draw with marker =)
Very clean work! I find it difficult to hold the board in one hand and draw with the other. You've done a great job controlling your linework while doing that.
+Cartoon Vegas Hi. Thank you. Yes, holding the board can be tiring. I used to rest it on my crossed leg, but these days I prefer to have a table in front of me to rest the board against.
Awesome. I use a very similar inkbrush and love the variation of line it gives. I buy the refillable tubes for my pentel inkbrush. What brand of fast drying out ink do you use? Oh, and i like the depth the grey wash gives too!
+Bobby Morris Thank you. Sorry for the very late reply. I work with Pentel Aquash brushes, which I fill with Dala acrylic black ink. The grey is the same ink watered down. About 90% water, and 10% ink for the grey.
Hi! Thanks .I use Pentel water brush pens, which I fill with acrylic ink, and the grey is the same ink watered down. Some inks do clog up the pens though, so you have to experiment and see what works.
Hi. I use black acrylic Dala brand ink with a Pentel Aquash brush for the linework, and the shading is the same except the black ink is watered down with about 80 percent water.
Amazing!! Great video thanks for share. So clean and fast your job. Im an artist too, work with live caricatures in weddings, and i need ask of you what the name of the pen that you work, i like the strokes and seems very soft. I hope you'll help me,again, congratulations!
Hi Jose! I use a fast drying ink with the Pentel Aquash water brush. (Medium or Broad point) The front is exactly like a brush it is re-fillable. The pen is pretty tricky to get used to at first, especially controlling the flow of the ink, but after about 2 weeks or so it's really worth making the switch.
Awesome work, you make it look so easy
Wow beautiful!!!!!!
Ah, Thanks! I appreciate it.

¿Pero que técnica emplea para colorear las caricaturas?
I work mainly in black and white when sketching live. The drawing in the background is painted in ArtRage.
