I used to add 1.1 heaped tablespoon Govindbhog rice in 1 packet (500 ml) full-cream (4.5% fat) homogenised milk and jaggery batasa instead of sugar. Rpt., Milk quality is most important -- 4.5% fat homogenised milk.
Total weight of batasa + khejur gur is 50-60 gm per packet milk. Even without any cashew nuts and kismis its taste was awesome. Suggesting you to try with this recipe.
