- This video details the process for creating a custom speaker and amplifier tuning setup for the dbx DriveRack VENU360. If your speakers and amplifiers do not appear in the dbx DriveRack VENU360 tuning list then you will need to configure the VENU360 for a custom setup.
The dbx DriveRack VENU360 is a 3x6 signal processor with flexible internal routing and mixing options. With three input processing chains, the VENU360 supports multi-mono, stereo, aux-fed subwoofer, and LCR system configurations.
The DriveRack VENU360 incorporates the latest advancements in dbx’s proprietary AutoEQ™ and AFS™ (Advanced Feedback Suppression™) algorithms. Combined with the AutoEQ and AFS Wizards, equalizing and ringing out the entire sound system is made simple. The VENU360 is the first DriveRack to offer AutoEQ on the output processing side (pre crossover), rather than the input processing side. This allows AutoEQ to be used on stage monitors, overflow zones, and delay fills, as well as the Front of House system. In fact, when all outputs are configured with 1x1 crossovers, AutoEQ can be run on each output independently!

Este aparato está muy buena yo se los recomiendo..normalmente no se tiene que balancear el systema pero algo que siempre uso es el AFS para evitar mucho feedback

Does anyone know if there's way to set it up so that there are two pairs of mains outputs? So 2 xlr in, going to 4 channels (2 pairs) of mains in a room? Do you just set one as full-range mains and one as full-range monitors? (both sets are full range monitors)
cara é o seguinte uso um dbx 360 após ele ta 3 potência alimentando 3 pares de caixas e um sub, line Array JBL, e nos auxiliares da mesa tenho dois retornos de chão ativos. O problema e que, o dbx360 as vezes corta o som das caixas mutando todo o sistema ficando o som só nos retornos. Segundo o rapaz que programou o dbx360 isso acontecia devido estar utilizando uma frequência acima do tolerado na programação feita no dbx. Só que mesmo depois de atender ao conselho, trabalhar com "volume" de entrada mais baixo pra não acontecer os "cortes " mesmo assim continua. o que será que posso fazer pra sanar esse problema já que quando ocorre tenho que desligar e ligar o dbx pra voltar ao normal( lembrando que depois que faço esse procedimento não volta, pelo menos no dia em que ja aconteceu).

How to polity changing in DBX venue 360°
i gotta question about the older driverack pa......maybe somebody can help.......i run sound for my friends band and sometimes (when in small room , or just practicing) I dont want to bother with subs ( vocals only)........the issue is , when i auto-eq.......i really just want to eq freq 80 and up or 100 and up..........but as far as i have fiqured out you have to have subs hooked up or the driverack will boost all the low bass (which I dont want) because the rta mic cant hear the lows........(i know , i dont want lows).......so I have to go back and cut all the bass out manually.....is there anyway around this ??? does the newer driveracks let you rta a specific band ???? that you want..............if not ... IT SHOULD
On the front of the driverack you should be able to just mute the sub channel if the crossover is setup correctly.

Dbx please help..!! When balance the sistem and for example on your highs amp you have all volume, and you run the wizard., and wizard says turn your left high amp turned up by 6 db... what should I do ?? I'm already have the knob all the way..!!
Your RTA mic stand is not at equidistant from your speakers.

i do have 260,PA2 but some how i dont like 360.Because iam not able to get the enough level on it.i have to increase level on crossover and input clip level needs to keep all the way high.still not satisfied
I have the same problem. It sounds great, but the output level is way too low.
has DBX ever addressed these issues? We have the same troubles. Have tweaked with xlr clip level in utility menu to match our old Driverack 260's (we've A/B'd them, there's a HUGE difference in level). On finding the right settings to match the level to the old system, we end up with internal clipping or other gain structure issues. This thing seems cool but ultimately is terrible in actual use. Drag! #dbx
how do i connect two or more driveracks to a mixer?\
Fairly simple really. Use your mixers bus or aux outs as duplicate signals, or use a splitter like the Drawmer DA6. This is what I use when I built my sound processor rack.
Goes something like this: Mixer main L/R out -> Processor rack: Drawmer DA6 -> Driverack. If you use drawmer you don't have to worry about any signal loss or having it sound different by adding the splitter in your chain. Just stay away from economy class splitters like ART and Behringer.

Why on earth did DBX reverse the outputs on this device so the highs come out on 1 and 2, but all of the other devices like that PA2 are set up with lows on output 1-2, mids on 3-4, and highs on 5-6? I smell a lawsuit from some smoked drivers in their future. Really dumb interface on this box. I own three of the PA2, and two of the Venue 360. Also own some of the older units....This thing is a navigational nightmare. Pathetic DBX.
