      Multumesc Dana, m-a socat cum au iesit ultimele doua unde se vad absolut toate nervurile, inainte de a fi uscate florile abia le puteai observa daca te uitai foarte atent.

      Hi Denise, yes you can press them too depending what you want to use them for, I like the silica gel method because is keeping the 3 dimensional shape of the flowers. Thank you for watching!

    I left my orchid in silica for 4 days and now it’s still very fleshy and the stem is green. Do I just need to leave it in for longer? Or is it dry and retained color?

    Wonderful, they turned out great. Do you use flowers when they are freshly opened or when they are older?

      Thank you Fernanda, I leave the flowers for a few days or a week after they open and after that I put them in silica gel, when they are freshly open they have so much water in the tissues.

      @@JolieTutoriales I don't think it comes in brands, just whoever sells it for example art and craft stores, I saw also available online...even some people use the kitty litter based on silica gel.

    Hello, great vidéo! Is it possible To preserve stem with the same technique or glycérine method will make a better result ? Thank you :)

    • @imadethis8953
      @imadethis8953  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Audrey, glycerine method I think is temporary and the flowers don't last for too long, yes you can dry flowers stems in silica gel but depending on how thick is it you might want to keep in gel longer, I have a video here where I dried an entire flower spike of an orchid and it turned pretty good.

      Da, mă uit, pentru că e interesant ce faci. Noi făceam în școală flori presate... am mai presat din cand în cand cate o floare, chiar am încercat și cu orhidee, dar nu au iesit. Spor în continuare!
