I definitely get the regression thing for Vancouver but nah, they won't fall out because the pacific is SO HORIFFIC. None of the bottom feeders got better, Seattle slightly, LA and Vegas got worse. I would be SHOCKED if Vancouver wasn't in the playoffs

I think the Kings will be a better team, I don't get how our bottom 6 is shit. The 3rd line will either be Foegele-Byfield-Fiala or Moore-Danault-Thomas, Kuemper is likely to bounce back similar to Talbot, I think the kids are gonna have a good season, a lot of them have developed for a long time in the A, so I won't be surprised that Thomas, Turcotte and Clarke immediately make an impact, and I also expect progress from Spence and Lafferiere. We're gonna be a young team, so anything could happen, but they should play better hockey as a team.
He’s a D1 kings hater for some reason, he points out all the positives for the dry islanders team and all the negatives for LA. LA will probably finish around 95-100 pts
as a devils fan I would be incredibly suprised if the isles missed playoffs. every year people always say they wont make playoffs but they always seem to be able to just squeak in.

most likley for me, Kings, Capitals, Islanders, Tampa as well. I saw Tampa's full team the other night on IG. I said oh wow, there's not much left over there. They are now my most likely to miss the playoffs. Vassy is older. Not sure how many goalies get better after they age out of their prime with each year. Injuries will happen, how will that first line hold up if they have to carry the load every single night. Also don't trust the Jets or Canes. They just don't seem to have enough to sustain what they did last year and maybe not even to contend with the remaining teams. NJ will be better. Detroit will be better. Islanders seemed to have added a little depth. Canes are kind of in the playoffs just by default unless Pittsburgh finds a time machine. Bolts will be competing with the Wings and Sabres maybe even Ottawa if they show up for a wild card. So Rangers, Devils, Islanders, wild card Canes and that means Caps are out as well.
The Capitals should’ve have been in the playoffs in the first place. Wouldn’t be surprised if they fell out. Boston, no matter how much we think they’ll fall off, will be dragged into the playoffs kicking and screaming.
