From my experience with both games, Genshin was enjoyable when I was doing only story quests, but the moment I started trying to build my characters and explore the world using characters that have no additional mobility for crumbs of primogems per chest to try pulling for a limited character is when the game really spits in your face and shows you how bad these aspects of the game are when you're a f2p player. WuWa instead gives the player two standard 5* characters for free in the first few hours of playing, as well as plenty of pulling currency for the player to get lots of 4* characters. A few weeks into the game the player can already get enough currency for their first few limited 5* characters without having to swipe their credit card or having to grind their soul away with sluggish exploration. Only after this early phase of the game is over, where you technically already have plenty of good characters and you don't really need to pull for anyone else, is when the astrite income slows down and you have to start saving for a month or two to get another character without spending money, meanwhile in Genshin the game is like this from the getgo. (Unless you want to spend 100+ hours opening every chest in the game with a third party map I guess.)
Yes as a Genshin day 1 player I still enjoy playing the story, lore and characters but everything outside off that is just feeling terrible. Now I only log in if new main story releases.
This kind of satire video makes you realize, everyone can say anything as their opinion that's why game journalism is nothing but just confirming your already existed fact and opinion
8:45 I do think the "new" characters in Genshin is current better than the WuWa ones ATM (not by much). I do think if you go back to "Year 1 of Genshin" and compare it to year 1 of WuWa, Wuwa has better characters. I do think eventually WuWa will have better Character design than Genshin.... Why? Because I think PGR has better characters design than Genshin, and it shows how amazing Kuro's character designs can get to.
2:35 Wuwa characters are also stuck behind "a pay wall" wdym? I say "pay wall" because in both games you can get the characters without paying anything 🤷♂️
5:20 Actually, genshin's weapon banner pitty is also 80, not 90😐 5:40 The weapon banner is actually a 33/33/33, two of them are for the two signature weapons of the characters who's banners are up, the other 33 is for standard weapon
The fact that they can make natlan chara do all sorts of things for the sake of easier exploration means they can do better but they just wouldn't and I already burned out for all these years.
I'm heading straight over there now to leave a like! Really funny. Gotta feel a little bit sorry for the Genshin fans though as they start to realise it's a piss-take. Very funny how he deliberately mispronounced Wuthering Waves too.
Im a genshin addict defender and goldfish but since a play wuwa.. i realize genshin is really sucks.... They scam my weapon on arlechino two hard pitty on weapon banner but thay gave me leney weapon wtf.. that time i quit genshin.. ps. I play genshin since release
Every game has its issues tbh. No game is perfect, but they can try to achieve that perfection. The thing is, Genshin, in its 4 years long run, never actually tried to improve until recently after wuwa went live. While, in WuWa, we are constantly seeing improvements, and amazing QOLs. That's why I prefer Wuwa over Genshin.
Genshin is objectively more appealing for the normies/non-gamer/casual/non-gacha gamers. It has a "mainstream" artistic direction but it's so well done that it literally became the most popular anime game ever existed Wuwa is the game of poeple and has good features. it has its flaws, for example the UI esthetic is really bad and doesnt fit Wuwa artistic direction The menu in general is wack Map design still needs to be improved. It still feels dead sometime and some texture on the map looks really off. Shaders should be better because its developped on UE5 but overall the game is really enjoyable, especially this patch.
This is the most realistic comment i've seen under this video. I love both of them, but i am turning off genshin slowly cuz in wuwa u can skip dialogue which make the experience more fluid and more enjoyable for me. Genshin is still the king of gacha game and it won't ever change. Wuthering waves still lack of everything maybe but the gameplay experience is better in my opinion.
Genshin is basically just a more polished candy crush. Appealing to a massive audience, but not really being that good beyond that and having good quality appeal due to going for too many types of players...
@@superclips9442 reducing genshin to a candy crush is over exagerated. Genshin has changed the face of the gaming industry forever. Crazy how they always takes pride on a scummy business practice while wuthering waves have 100% on weapon banner and just 80 pulls on Limited character banners and you can even S2 for free of course their revenue will be lesser Genshintards.

NOW THE BIGGEST POINT : STORYLINE AND LORE Okay as I said it's a comparison between Genshin 1.4 story VS Wuwa 1.4 story In Genshin from the start it was pretty much clear what we need to do so from the start of the story we just have to follow the navigation. Mondstadt clears that up if i talk about lore there wasn't much in Mondstadt except the abyss introduction with the corrupted Dvalin. The storyline there was pretty straightforward focused on traversal and pointed out the basic things u need to know of the game and the primary objective. Then comes Liyue since 1.x patch had 2 regions now this region focused greatly on traversel and open world diversity if i talk about the storyline Liyue was average at its best imo. The end of the quest makes it a bit better but not much. In fact this region mainly focused on player engagement. NOW for Wuwa, the start of the story we knew our objective but the problem rised the clearance of Navigation the first some acts clearly focused on traversal and basic game stuffs but the storyline and primary objective was unclear until the therodian's attack. Then the last 3 act was epic but for a starting area it was average at best. Now then new Area Mt Ferminant the quest followed us here for the first time with a proper idea what to do and why also gave an Assurity to know an answer or a future guidance. 1.1 story was pretty great imo but it lacked the build up of Jue's character and jinsi and his relationship which primarily kinda explained in her resonator showcase still it'd be great if they add that in story so it won't feel a bit rushed also the best thing was we got the answer who we are and pretty much gave some big lore drops but also rises many questions along with how we can get our memory back so for that we had to go 1.3 Black Shores, again we had a navigation but no idea there we met our wif- ahem friend or u can say another disciple the shorekeeper now she gave pretty much big infos along the fact we created black shores and it was actually our decision to wipe out our memories. This story was simply very nice but again was hugely rushed 2nd half if only they stretched it another update and connected some more info then we went to save shorekeeper it'd be really peak imo. Still we saw some improvements. Now if i compare genshin had better storyline navigation while wuwa we got better information and elements inside story. But the fact is Genshin 1.5 the interlude chapter 1 revealed a HUGE thing which made genshin's lore 20 times stronger and interesting so im hoping great for Wuwa 2.0 Rinascitta too considering pgr also had a below average start to now one of the best storyline in gacha thanks to chapter 13 which changed everything.
Its unreliable, but i think there was a leak saying we will fight Phrolova in 2.0, which makes me think we'll have another Lament/Threnodian Battle. And maybe has a big twist like how Phrolova mentioned about their "Artificial Resonators" at the end of 1.1 story.
Gameplay is better in WuWa sure. I still dropped it after a month because the writing is something I could've managed better in high school. Genshin has deeper more engaging lore. Both are easy games so what does the gameplay really matter? WuWa is lucky Genshin came first, because otherwise they would have had nothing to build off of since they clearly lack writing creativity.
I still think Genshin's main story and lore is still leagues above Wuwas's. But Wuwa's combat style ,and other gamplay elements are far better (like traversal, combat engagement etc) and more dynamic.
The stories are at the same level if you compare the archon quests of Mondstad and Liyue, it's only after Inazuma did it start getting better (Archon quests is the only thing that got consistently better, while everything stayed same). I mean I still play Genshin just to know what happened in Khanriah
The disrespect of comparing 1.4 wuwa to genshin 1.4 and saying its at the same level. Only sumeru and onwards carries the storytelling and lore of genshin whereas wuwa has only have gotten much interesting as days goes on
@@Shhh_94 Yeah, I played GI since its release but I started to play GI for the story AFTER 3.0 and even that had some major flaws... 2.0 had a potential but it got bad, boring and unnecessarily stretched so quick...
Comparing two games that came out 4 years apart is just foolish. Genshin sucked ass at release, i casually played for 1-2 hours for like a week and bam the entire game was done and you see zhongli sitting on his ass at the table in Liyue with nothing else to do for weeks. Genshin feels smoother but i haven't enjoyed it much since the devs said they wont make difficult content because of player anxiety . Even if they did i don't think the game has proper balance to make it work. Wuthering feels better to me overall.
The only thing i like from genshin is the music and some of the arc story like Inazuma. The artifact farm sucks so bad as far as i remember. Less rewards, devs quite stingy back in the days and the graphics starts to look outdated too. When the Sumeru came out, i try to install the games back and play it. It didnt meet my expectations and bored me quick. WuWa is better in my opinions, even with shitty starts. Anyway, fuck woke shit. I'm out.
I get that this is sarcastic but i’m sorry at this point i might genuinely regard wuwa as the worst among the big 3 so far. The lack of male characters is beyond ridiculous, the writing is atrocious as well.
Genshin Impact has the worst movement and combat i've ever seen and used. Even the Roblox game Royale High game has better combat and movement in their garbage gamemode Royale Archery.
Genshin Impact is a slow game, and my two months spent playing it felt like a waste. During those two months, I only obtained Qiqi and Diluc. What kind of game is that? I prefer HSR and WuWa 100% 😅
The only people saying that are honestly people who don't even play the game... They will see a Screenshot of like Camellya saying "my seed of fate" and call that a Harem, while then completly bastardising her entire characterisation just to Affirm their own thought they already made up before... Like, Camellya's entire companion story is basically around her backstory of overclocking, memory, Job as a bloom bearer... And that somehow is a Harem...

only 3 min and i can't stand this.. better world exploration he said? to enjoy world exploration you need to traverse better that's the bread and butter of exploring.. and everything related to that is hidden behind a paywall and this guy said the best exploration? no way no one didn't notice this even this vid cc also said the same.. the only benefit genshin has is because the world is bigger but that's because the game run longer.. the graphic pale way in comparison though.. even worst there's no need to traverse better in wuwa because you are not inconvinience in anyway.. and the butterfly is only because that's how she canonically is rather than a means via auto pickup but i guess the guy didn't play enough to know that
He's being sarcastic. However, "good exploration" doesn't necessarily require high mobility, as there are different philosophies for open world games. Hoyo DEVs have the philosophy that the open world has difficulty levels, a mountain doesn't have the same difficulty as a floor or places with water or other types of obstacles. They limit what they can do, as they know that players will "want to make it easier" to climb the mountain, that is, they will have to explore to find this ease, which could be flowers that have stamina left, mechanisms that throw you up there, or animals that have abilities that climb more easily. That's why Genshin's exploration is good, and it's not blocked by characters like some make it seem. They put this improvement in some characters, but limit it by not making it "mandatory" to get the character, as there will always be mechanics on the map itself for players to use.

5:48 peak 🤣🤣🤣
8:45 I do think the "new" characters in Genshin is current better than the WuWa ones ATM (not by much). I do think if you go back to "Year 1 of Genshin" and compare it to year 1 of WuWa, Wuwa has better characters. I do think eventually WuWa will have better Character design than Genshin.... Why? Because I think PGR has better characters design than Genshin, and it shows how amazing Kuro's character designs can get to.
2:35
Wuwa characters are also stuck behind "a pay wall" wdym?
I say "pay wall" because in both games you can get the characters without paying anything 🤷♂️
I like both games. I like that Wuthering Waves exists because I get to do things right in that game which I did wrong in Genshin in the past.
yep . its the point from the twitter post XD
8/8, great bait.
Funny enough, I agree with just a couple of his claims but him making the worst argents on purpose is hysterical.
I like genshin impact because it's chill environment, wanna try wuwa but still unoptimized
Really? I play on redmi k50i and both genshin and wuwa run perfectly fine tho 🤔
5:20
Actually, genshin's weapon banner pitty is also 80, not 90😐
5:40
The weapon banner is actually a 33/33/33, two of them are for the two signature weapons of the characters who's banners are up, the other 33 is for standard weapon
the amount of content similar to this is fucking hilarious and of course we all are in the comments reading LMAO

Bro just decided to poke the vicious dogs😂😂
Genshin is objectively more appealing for the normies/non-gamer/casual/non-gacha gamers. It has a "mainstream" artistic direction but it's so well done that it literally became the most popular anime game ever existed
Wuwa is the game of poeple and has good features. it has its flaws, for example the UI esthetic is really bad and doesnt fit Wuwa artistic direction
The menu in general is wack
Map design still needs to be improved. It still feels dead sometime and some texture on the map looks really off. Shaders should be better because its developped on UE5
but overall the game is really enjoyable, especially this patch.
@@generalliu8149 Honkai star rail has a yap fest this patch too and I’m reminded of how we desperately need skip button, God I wanna delete that game.
Genshin is basically just a more polished candy crush. Appealing to a massive audience, but not really being that good beyond that and having good quality appeal due to going for too many types of players...

NOW THE BIGGEST POINT : STORYLINE AND LORE
Okay as I said it's a comparison between Genshin 1.4 story VS Wuwa 1.4 story
In Genshin from the start it was pretty much clear what we need to do so from the start of the story we just have to follow the navigation.
I am genshin f2 player i have 6 (5 character) 😊
Wethering Wevs :D
Genshin definitely beats Wuwa in almost every aspect, except combat. For the rest Wuwa feels like a game made by AI
Genshin and WuWa is the new Apple and Android.
@@azurite4296 that's so true
Lmao so hilarious 😂
Gameplay is better in WuWa sure. I still dropped it after a month because the writing is something I could've managed better in high school. Genshin has deeper more engaging lore. Both are easy games so what does the gameplay really matter? WuWa is lucky Genshin came first, because otherwise they would have had nothing to build off of since they clearly lack writing creativity.
Lol🤡
6 yo game have more update than 4 yo game
I still think Genshin's main story and lore is still leagues above Wuwas's.
But Wuwa's combat style ,and other gamplay elements are far better (like traversal, combat engagement etc) and more dynamic.
Compare Genshin from 1.4 backward to current WUWA and the stories are about the same level
Stories from the beginning of genshin was not good and it only progressed throughout the years
The stories are at the same level if you compare the archon quests of Mondstad and Liyue, it's only after Inazuma did it start getting better (Archon quests is the only thing that got consistently better, while everything stayed same).
I'm out.
"the combat is better in genshin" right? RIGHT? RIIGHTT?
hilarious
Call me crazy. But Nikke and PGR destroy both wuwa and genshin.
Wuwa might get to PGR's level with time, considering that its under the same company
I get that this is sarcastic but i’m sorry at this point i might genuinely regard wuwa as the worst among the big 3 so far. The lack of male characters is beyond ridiculous, the writing is atrocious as well.
Lol🤡
Genshin Impact has the worst movement and combat i've ever seen and used.
Even the Roblox game Royale High game has better combat and movement in their garbage gamemode Royale Archery.

only 3 min and i can't stand this.. better world exploration he said? to enjoy world exploration you need to traverse better that's the bread and butter of exploring.. and everything related to that is hidden behind a paywall and this guy said the best exploration? no way no one didn't notice this even this vid cc also said the same.. the only benefit genshin has is because the world is bigger but that's because the game run longer.. the graphic pale way in comparison though.. even worst there's no need to traverse better in wuwa because you are not inconvinience in anyway.. and the butterfly is only because that's how she canonically is rather than a means via auto pickup but i guess the guy didn't play enough to know that
ok 7 min is my last patience.. fk this guy saying genshin gacha system is better.. i'm out
You are a 🤡
And a white knight of ww
@@kayyam9959You should watch it till the end if you haven't already, the bald man.
