I recently bought the BioStyle 20 along with the customizable cartridge and it is sleek. I'll be using it soon in one of my new aquascapes! I also purchased Biomaster Thermo 250 and Filtosmart 60 and absolutely love those products. All of these products are very quiet and efficient.
Hello George! That video was really informative and helpful. Does this filter provides the capability to place biological media like sera siporax between the two cartridges or replace the one with the mechanical sponge with the above mentioned bio media?Thanks in advance
What I hate about AquaClear and such is the way it pushed the flow straight down and somewhat across the surface. I heard what you said, but to double down this one doesn’t force the water straight down correct?
Hello George, a good explanation about how this filters work, there's also something to do about improvements made on the Oase Biomasters canister filters .250,350,600 and 850, called biomaster 2. Can you tell us more about these improvements?
Is that carbon in the media in the middle of the cartridge? Planted tank people don’t want that, it sucks up all our fertilizer. I’m liking the high flow rate though. I would just replace that middle one that has carbon with filter floss or something personally
Thank you for your input, you can optionally remove this section but we can't recommend an "official" replacement for something to add in its place if you still want to benefit from the full filter surface area.
It's a shame you guys dont sell a thermo version for Europe. It seems like an obvious easy win that would help you compete with the Seachem Tidal and Fluvals Aquaclear. Im assuming it's due to some kind of EU regs that only allows you to sell the thermo version in the States.
Looks good but your wrong in making a blanket statement saying hang on the back filters require priming. not all of them do require priming. Also, I dont think this is shrimp and fry safe so you will have to slap op and intake sponge or make some sort of plan there and it will ruin the look. I really like the outlet lip that pushes water out and not down, thats quite cool.

it doesnt have a surface skimmer? the seachem tidal has :( . i like this design but its missing skimmer.

The included filter cartridges shown at 2:33 are included.

Unfortunately the Thermo version is currently only available in the US.

There’s all kinds of room for improvement or hotroding. Need space for biomedia, probably in front of of the cartridge.
