Literally the most jacked I got was when I just had a pull up bar and rings. Did ring pull ups, ring push ups, ring dips and ring rows and got fantastic results. It’s not about equipment, it’s about effort I think
That's right Jonathan. If one is always concerned about the most optimal gear, not only will they lack ingenuity and creativity, but they will also forever chase that carrot on a stick. Always will be a better machine / upgrade etc.
Hey man, Firstly i would like to say that i really like your channel and enjoy the little simple vlogs you make. I myself am an advanced lifter with a home gym working full time job and familly life with 2 little kids. No matter how busy my life gets i will always find a way to lift as its a passion. Just like you I prepare my gym setup the day before so i can save some time during the session. Love listening to like-minded individuals and getting new ideas. Anyway continue what your doing bro, really appreciate it! And Merry xmas Greetings from Belgium
@@Nadime1994 Greetings and merry christmas to you and your family Nadime! That's so cool to read man! I thought I was the only one.. Makes me very happy to know that we had the same instinct ! Maybe advanced lifters share a common trait that intermediates lack / wouldn't consider Thanks for the comment my Belgium brother 🙏🏻
I am sub 295, quick update: tried the foam roller preacher pad and man you are right, feels commercial grade right in my home gym for no extra money or space. Next up I'm trying the 45 back extension! Thank again my friend!
@@anonymous6045 Mate that is so awesome to hear! There's a bit of nuance to the hyperextension. I'll make a short when I get time to show you how "commercial" grade it feels! Try it out then ill show you my version (some stuff not showing on camera) Cheers my bro!!
Hope you had a great Christmas man. I wanted to ask, what are your thoughts on the standard smith machine bench press as the main chest movement. I know basement bodybuilding is a big fan of this exercise as opposed to the regular bench. I’ve never tried it out myself yet. Do you find it stimulated the chest better and is it easier on the shoulders. I’ve heard some say it’s prone for injuries. I personally find the regular bench difficult on the shoulders so I was wondering whether the smith would be better.
@@Berserk-i3y Merry Christmas to you and your family Berserk! There is nothing wrong with the smith machine flat bench press. Stable and safe movement. I personally believe there's nothing wrong with flat barbell bench press and I do want to increase my strength with it. I do find flat barbell incline gives me shoulder discomfort when it gets heavy, hence why I do the smith machine incline. I think they are both stable! Comes down to preference!
Great!!
