      Excellent Video, thank you. I am looking to buy one of these in the UK this month.
      Great explanation and thanks for showing the power and which pellets to use. Also I checked out that scope (the one you are using in the video), it looks great.
      Subbed and liked.

    4:45 -- It's like they put a lot of time and effort into 3/4 of that gun and once they got to the end they went to lunch and called it a day. Didn't even bother covering it to look uniform like something you would hang on a wall. F-it...tired of looking at this lets ship it already. If I am paying that much I want a complete gun not someone's incomplete work. C'mon SIG don't three quarter ass the next one. Yes we all know it's a PCP but at least convince us it's not made by someone on PCP.

      They did this because they don't want it to mimic a real firearm. If someone tries to use it in a robbery or in a street altercation, armed police and individuals defending their property know it's a non lethal weapon.

    My neighbor just got hers ....here's a tip for some new buyers don't fill the bottle untill after you screw it to the gun and check to make sure the two little Allen head screws are on the top of the bottle near the threads (hers were very loose but it shoots very accurate at 35 yards with just the flip up sights and use the pellet seating tool in the grip to get each pellet perfectly in the belt also might want an extra mag or two

    I want one but I don't need it.

    @DrJones916 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You need to use the tool to seat the pellets or they will jam depending on type of pellet. I've put about 2000+ pellets through mine and depending on pellet type you will need to use the tool in the handle grip to seat them correctly, it will make a pop or clicking sound when seated correctly.

  • @faithfulwarrior7
    @faithfulwarrior7 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    It's 1100 psi output unless you use a tank with lower psi output. The gun is rated to not be used over 1200psi output.

    • @faithfulwarrior7
      @faithfulwarrior7 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you use a tank that gives over 1200 psi, it will pop out the air transfer pinion...destroying the internals of the rifle.

    • @brorjordas1979
      @brorjordas1979 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had mine set at 1450psi for a very long time. And lately been running at 1650psi.
      Just never shoot empty without a magazine and belt inserted - cuz then the extending nozzle may break it's plastic housing. That issue though was solved on the .177 Canebrake model by installing a longer valve spring which stops the valve stem from pushing the extening nozzle towards the plastic nozzle housing.. But, yes. Not going too far with the pressure surely may prolong the rifle's lifespan and the need for fixes..

    Got (finally!!) mine a few months ago.
    I must have gotten lucky. Not a single pellet jam to date...and I am shooting RWS Hobby pellets (almost 1500pcs shot thru now). Have shot also Gamo lead and H&N alloy pellets with it - but the RWSs been the winner pellet, easily - by giving about 3" groups at 30 meters. Them expensive H&N alloy pellets (Baracuda Green and Sniper Light) even were not providing accuracy - and I have shimmed the barrel tight into the handguard. The outer barrel shroud though is quite a joke - made of three plastic parts..
    I do have raised the regulator output higher from the original 1100psi up to around 1250psi or so. Shoots seemingly harder (no fps numbers to give, since do not own a chrony yet) from original - but also the airtank gets harder to unscrew when tve pressure gets higher. Dunno if any idea to up pressure anymore, since it surely never will be a match target rifle anyways - but as a mid-range spraypaint can destroyer it surely is a total badass rifle..
    The trigger is harder in comparison to the older co2 MCX due to new, tighter internal springs, total pellet weight load and so on. Could be made lighter, smoother and better - but not sure if it'd be worth it, since the Virtus still not having a match target barrel setup..
    I do have had time now to read many stories from unhappy Virtus owners. Sucha damn shame the quality control is not better. But apparently I must have been one of the lucky ones, since I do love mine. I do shoot a mag or two quite so often. Kinda still working in on mine by just terminating cans at a closer range. Someday I'll do a new 30 meter test to see if it has smoothened itself out for better accuracy. If not - then it will go apart on the table once again..😂

    Oh man.. It took it's time. As if this been a new one..
    But I am always eager to see new videos of this rifle. Waited a longctime for it to come out.. Had the .177 co2 MCX since it came out. Had sole issues with it thru the years - but fixing and modding it has been the most interesting part of it all - and I believe that same thing rules this Virtus also. My co2 MCX has now a one smooth trigger and shoots as good as it needs to. Only downfall is the loss in power when the co2 cools down - and therefore si'd be interested in this one, if not getting an HPA kit for the old .177 that is...

Accuracy matters though so I think the Benji 392 is sticking around for a while. Still...that is a very cool gun for plinking and having fun. If Sig could make this more accurate...WOW! They would really fly off the shelf. HPA is so much better than having to buy CO2 all the time too. That was a good move on their part for real. Wonder if the barrel could be changed out to get standard PCP accuracy? Say 1” @ 50 yards...Maybe an FX Smooth Twist barrel from old left over stock or eBay might be modified to fit it, and definitely bump up the power to about 800+ FPS with a 16 grain pellet and a different style magazine. The belt might be part of the accuracy issue. Never did like the looks, or the loading of the magazine when I saw it at Shot Show. Sounds like a project coming soon. Very cool. Thanks Rick. Hope you tinker with this gun and tweak the living daylights out of it. It might be a wolf in sheep’s clothing if undressed right.

    So much for "facts not fluff" I bought this gun and it's garbage, can't even call it a plinking gun unless your target is 2 feet by 2 feet shooting it from less than 20 yards away and you just want to hear pellets ringing steel, but as far as groups?? I tried every brand of pellet I have and they flew all over the place, I couldn't even zero the scope because when you think you are noticing pellets grouping you shoot it again and now they hit 2, sometimes 3 inches away from where you thought was your zero and that's at less than 20 yards!! And if you are thinking of pest control you'd better sneak onto an unsuspecting rodent and hit it with the butt of the gun, you have a better chance at hitting it that way! And don't get me started on the magazine getting stuck! Also trigger is so horrible and hard you will end up with a sore or blistered finger just pulling on it! Ohh and for it's weak power this gun is VERY loud, so not a backyard plinker at all! I've see BB pistols getting better results than this crappy rifle!! DO NOT BUY!

Cut some thin aluminum can sheeting and wrap the barrel, then stuff it back in the shroud. My groupings went from several feet down to palm sized at 50 yards just with that one fix.
