Great tip. I’ve been having traction issues with my speed run tt02, and I’ve got shore 35 foams. They seem too hard and not grippy enough. Definitely gonna try this tonight and see how it does tomorrow
Awesome tip! 👍 Curious, what's your preferred foam tire & compound for high speed runs? Last foams I used were Contact GT8. Tried 25 shore & 35 shore. The 25's had amazing grip but I shred the crap out of them. The 35's are still intact so far but the traction is 'ok'. Thanks 😎👍
With wd 40 the petroleum distillates start to break rubber down, I'm assuming foam as well. I think the spf 50 may be doing the same thing to a much lesser extent. Either way great tip!

I tested with EVA using improvised trueing machine and it works but small grip, then I placed motorcycle chain wax on it and the tires are glued to the road literally ... for 5 minutes :-) I bought a commercial foam tire and the foam texture seems different than EVA on surface, maybe semi open cells or plastazote ?
Sweeps and matrix are 2 separate brands .1 guy ran them with problems but I ran 159 and 147 mph no problems there good I think ..well see next weekend..keep up the sick paint jobs

Eva foam, the problem is, we can't get custom hardness, unless you mold them by yourself

Got two sets of sweep matrix foams and people giving me shit about it in forums saying there junk. Smh. But I like them though. Runs good.
