OMG!! Thank you sooooo much! It is an amazing tutorial. I did not know why the property was not working well when I added tags to it directly rather than inside the settings. No one explained it as good as you did!
as warning to everyone trying the plugin. ALWAYS make backups of the vault before even installing it and then everytime you change the columns if you have the one setting ticked that removes the field from the files too. also the plugin doesn't like nested lists like key: key2: - value 1 - value 2 key3: - vaule 3 if you have things like that it changes it into the "object" writing style with key: {[key: [value 1, value2]}, {key: value}]} or something similar (not sure on the exact syntax). so it can change your existing metadata in a way that you don't want.

(copied out of the field it shows.) the funny thing is that it is putting \ before the \ of the latex syntax. but it isn't how it is written inside the note. conclusion DB folder still hates nested fields. the problem is that i use a nested field because the sub fields have all different names but i want to have the formulas all inside one column. so i put all formulas into a main "formulas" field and have the first sub field the name of the formula and then a 2nd deep sub field for each variable. and in that is then the formula. so i can't just rewrite this structure so that i have no sub fields because then each formula would need it's own column or i would need to write a VERY long choose() header for each formula table.
