Very useful plugin! Avoids manually writing the MOCs. I like it a lot. Would you mind sharing how you use the dataview technique to generate the MOCs automatically? Im new to Obsidian - Maybe generally a video showcasing the practical use of Dataview would be benefiical for a wider audience.
@@hyperadapted Thank you! I think you’re right, and I’ve started drafting out a video about Dataview’s use here and its wider applications in Obsidian. Looking to have it out in the next few days
This is a slightly better way of presenting files inside a folder, although it's not too far from the Waypoint plugin. I've used it inside the folder note with %% Begin Waypoint %% syntax (the plug in adds the %% End Waypoint %% syntax at the end). It shows a list of files in the folder and also can show any subfolder content (if applicable ... and you can toggle collapse/uncollapse). In your Dataview video on this subject, you show how you can add additional info to a table ... so you have more control over what you see and how it's arranged by using Dataview. It's an interesting approach that, once you get it working, it should make one's Obsidian life even better. Thanks for the video. I appreciate your approach -- calm, slow enough to follow, clear examples ... too many Obsidian content creators plow through their content so fast it's hard to absorb and keep up, which creates the "why bother" outcome.
@@danlangendorf7752 Thank you, it's encouraging to hear that so far my style of teaching is working for you. I've not tried the Waypoint plugin yet, maybe I'll give it a go soon and see what it's like. Thanks very much for watching!

im suprised this isnt seen as a core setting
Yeah it's been so pivotal in my own workspace. But each to their own I guess - perhaps it wasn't that high on the team's priorities
