The most important thing is that aster multiseat doesent waste pc ressources and distributes them evenly for each workstation. This is where different softwares and Vms often fail.

Some questions::
- Does the PC sleep if no activity from either access point?
- And if either move mouse will PC wake or only master can wake the PC?

- How is privacy? If Aster crashes can 2nd user's screen display on 1st user's screen?
Sleep mode will not work, the screens will go into sleep mode tho. It's pretty rare for it to crash.
Is it possible to copy the mouse movements to the second system? So one mouse and it does the same movements and clicks for the other system?

Do you know its possible to use multiple monitor (extended monitor ) like this example (Terminal 1 - Monitor 1 / Terminal 2 - Monitor 2 / Terminal 3 - Monitor 3 + Monitor 4) , everything coming out from the same GPU? Which configuration did you use with this build?

@@gabrielebettin I used a gti 980ti and a ryzen 2700x.
Aster doesent use much ressources. Only the other programms you run on your "Terminals" will use ressources. (Like games or browsers)
If you have a pc. Just look at your task manager and monitor your ressources tab. Multiply the load times the number or terminals you want to have.
E.g.
If you want to play a game on 2 terminals. Just run it once without aster. And aslong as you have below 50% on the gpu and ram while playing that game. You should be able to play it on 2 terminals.
(That calculation is a bit inaccurate, but it worked for me. This just works if you want to know if your gpu/ram will be able to handle it. The calculation doesent work on the cpu)

Can I use this in a different way? As in one workstation streaming a live event using vmix and the other workstation projecting the program to in house screens and tvs using some presentation software. Is this possible ?

yes should be easily possible, as dota is not that demanding

That really depends on the game.
But I would advice to a high end one like 1080ti. Or wait for the gtx 3000 series release. They will be much better and more cost efficient than the current 1000 and 2000 series gtx cards
I also have never tried aster multiseat with 4 users, so I cant guarantee that it will work as good as it does with 2 users.

Try sandboxie it works flawlessly if VAC error occurs run it in UAC Admin and it should work fine played a couple games with dota and csgo with my cousin and it works fine

Yes. About 150-200fps i have an rx580 4gb with ryzen 3 1300x.
Valorant is a pretty light game, i have an athlon 3050e laptop with intergrated graphics and it gets 50fps.

What do you mean with fps changes? Aster multiseat doesent have a bad fps impact.
If you run the game twice, you will need around twice the ressources. (Normaly if you run the game twice, you will have like 60% fps on each workstation. Compared to when you run it only once)
If you run the game only on one workstation, there will be no fps „changes“. It will be just as „normal“ without aster.
has how to define the cpu cores for each terminal. then divide! too sets a 50% gpu usage limit for each. But you have to see this manually in your gpu's software settings.
i have gpu RX 570 4GB, and G4560 (4cores) 2 to workstation 1, and 2 to workstation 2. Work fine! But idont know to sets vram manually for each
@@Chezgatt2000 I dont think that there is an option to do that in the aster software.
I think windows still decides which process gets how much resources. And in most cases its 50/50 if both processes (games) need the same amount of power.

It will work, but you'll have to make to copys of the game on your hard drive per user. aka copy paste the game folder.
Curious about Aster multiseat safety ... Malwarebytes is flagging that it's requesting an outbound connection to 82.202.167.118 on ports 443 and 80 multiple times a day and it's malware/Trojan. What's to keep mutectl.exe from sending computer details to a Russian network (ibik.ru)?
It should not request anything when its not open.
When its open its most likely to check how many days you have left / if you bought it.
If your still worried you can ckeck with some other programm the traffic of aster
It's the DRM checking on your license, pretty normal for most apps.
