Soul music...I was a student at an HBCU in the 70s...EWF performed in our little campus gym before they went global...the atmosphere was so electrified... it created a real bond in the student body. You'd hear their jams blasting from dorm rooms, and cars ... the lyrics would be repeated like a greeting almost or to encourage somebody ... that's the way of the world...
