@Clint Curtis- By removing the middle pickup you more or less turned the Nashville into a normal Telecaster, so why compare? I was hoping to see a full on true comparison of the two. I wanted to see the use of the middle tele pickup. Still nice playing and I enjoyed the video, just a little let down on the comparison part.
I hear you, but this is how I see it: It's still the same guitar, stock, just without the middle pickup. I would be different if I was comparing to another 3-coil guitar, but in this case you are hearing the same tones on the bridge and neck pickup as if the middle pickup was still there.
Great demo and you have some great skills Clint Curtis. I have the American Deluxe Tele in cherry burst as well and I love it. It's a very versatile piece of equipment and it looks so dang great.
Yes great playing. I personally thought the deluxe sounded a bit better. More creamy tones I suppose idk just smoother Maybe because of the noiseless pickups. ? Both great tho
Sound awesome really! I am wondering why you bought a Nashville telly when you changed it to a standard (removed the strat pickup and changed to a standard 3-way blade) ?
Is that blonde telecaster a deluxe? Is there a year or specific deluxe model i'ts associated with? I've looked online for it, but I can't quite find that one. The tone on that one is great! It looks like the one with the serial number: US17029112
It's a Mexican Nashville Tele with the middle pickup removed. I liked the middle pickup, but I also missed the normal Tele middle position sound. I bought it a few years ago, it's such a great guitar. Sometimes Fender will do a FSR blond tele too, which I haven't tried. The Nash has an ash body, which makes a difference too.
Chris E. you wont get the honey blonde they stopped making that colour in 2014 i think . But newer ones in 2016 now have 22 frets 12 inch radius contoured neck heel fender schaller locking tunners and vintage noiseless pickups .
+Clint Curtis Could you do a mod that allows you to turn the middle pickup off on the Nashville so you can blend the neck and bridge? I've been looking to buy this but I wanted to see what options I have.
The Nashville is much more 'standard & vintage' with tons of character, and it was 1/4 the cost! The deluxe feels high quality, but doesn't always sound like a tele.
Yes, it was made in Mexico - I didn't have to do anything with the frets, or anything else. It is a fantastic guitar. I bought it 3 years ago or so. I'd buy it if you're looking for a traditional sounding tele, but it has a lot of sound options and tons of gain/bite when needed.
I probably used Guitar Rig 5 here. I can't remember - but I use an AC30, Blues Junior and minimal pedals. (Joyo Vintage Overdrive, Marshall Guvnor), but try Guitar Rig 5 for recording, it's great.
I used to give lessons, and I 've been toying with the idea of going online with it, but I want to be able to commit the time. So I may, depends on what happens. Thanks for the comments. I use Guitar Rig 5 a lot, and also with some pedals in to that.
+Joel del Pilar I think it was just Guitar Rig 5 Software in this video. It's through a UAD 2-610s preamp though. I use a Vox AC30 and Fender amps mostly. Thanks
He should be proud of his guitars...heck I'M proud of his guitars! I found the deluxe slightly more balanced and "refined", and the Nashville more of a singer, although it seems you could drive or lay back on either and enjoy it all night. Excellent sound and artistry on both guitars, thank you.
A Nashville Tele without the middle pickup isn't really a Nashville Tele anymore … the quack positions 2 & 4 sound fantastic, not just good, fan - f8*&%$ - tastic.
Wish you could play a longer version of this. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Thanks
Amazing playing man, holy shit. Your articulation is almost perfect.
Thanks

It’s still a comparison between vintage Noiseless and 4th gen noiseless, right?
It's always a pleasure to hear you play. Good vibe good feel keep it up please.
Beautiful playing
Clint makes any guitar sound great and definitely looks cool doing it.
It never gets old ~ happy new year man !!
Been wanting a telecaster for awhile now, damn man you kill it!
Great demo and you have some great skills Clint Curtis. I have the American Deluxe Tele in cherry burst as well and I love it. It's a very versatile piece of equipment and it looks so dang great.
Thanks
I also own a Cherry Burst Deluxe Tele .. love the neck, the sound .. everything. Question: do you own any PRS Guitars?
Nice sound! Both Teles sound great as well.
Wow that American deluxe is sweet sounding
You sir have gained yourself a subscriber =)
first of all, your playing is awesome, and you make any guitar sound amazing. however, to my taste i pick Nashville.
Great licks! Nice backing track.
Very inspiring
Both sound good, but different.
I thought the 2nd guitar had a more "throaty" sound that I preferred.
Nice playing, by the way.
Robert J Baumgartner I thought the second one sounded more like it had humbuckers in it . I love it
Its nice to see that health and fitness take at least a little corner of your room :)
I really enjoy your vidios - thank you! awesome soloing!
Woahh what a player. Everything is perfect.
As for the guitare they sound similar to me.👌
I'm guessing the 2nd geetar is the Nashville, it's the one I prefer.
Dragan M you guessed wrong. The first one is the Nashville, the second is the American Deluxe
You da man Mr.Curtis !!!
Great style, great playing... I WANNA BE LIKE YOU!!
Awesome, man. Could you please share with me your backing track?
awesome

I used it as a 3 pickup for a long time. It was just something I tried, and may reverse someday.
what is backing track
is good
Just close your eyes and enjoy🙂
This guy needs a another guitar. Great playing , I like your sound. I had to save this video!

Just subscribed
your left hand seems to get smaller when you play around the 12th fret area...nice playing though. 🖒
American Deluxe sounds richer. Thanks Clint.......Sal : )
the nashville actually sounds a bit warmer then the deluxe.surprised me
The Nashville is much more 'standard & vintage' with tons of character, and it was 1/4 the cost! The deluxe feels high quality, but doesn't always sound like a tele.
is the nashville made in mexico. And if it was did you have to file the frets or anything to make the neck smooth and comfortable
Yes, it was made in Mexico - I didn't have to do anything with the frets, or anything else. It is a fantastic guitar. I bought it 3 years ago or so. I'd buy it if you're looking for a traditional sounding tele, but it has a lot of sound options and tons of gain/bite when needed.
i actually am looking at them and thanks for your input on it and the demos.Very much appreciated
GREAT PLAYER!!
Id like to know what your runnng here ? Amps pdals please ?
I probably used Guitar Rig 5 here. I can't remember - but I use an AC30, Blues Junior and minimal pedals. (Joyo Vintage Overdrive, Marshall Guvnor), but try Guitar Rig 5 for recording, it's great.
WOW awesome jam!! Do you give lessons? I would be curious as to the rest of your set-up
I used to give lessons, and I 've been toying with the idea of going online with it, but I want to be able to commit the time. So I may, depends on what happens. Thanks for the comments. I use Guitar Rig 5 a lot, and also with some pedals in to that.
Which one is the nashville ? both have two pickups, Nashville has three.
Oh Hell, just call it Kentuckyville
The Blonde is a Nashville Tele with the middle removed. I'm not fond of the three pickups in a telecaster, but that's the guitar!
@@ClintCurtis .... Oh I see but what ever the guitar is you make it sound bad ass , love your playing .
Deluxe for me , sound much clearer & sharper.
How do you avoid HUM?
Is that a song you're playing at first? Also NICE playing man!
A talented player like yourself could make any quality guitar sound great. Why did you remove the middle pickup from the Nashville?
+BigDuke5500 thanks! I just wanted a classic tele look and sound, and it's easy to put back if I want to!
Clint Curtis Kinda defeats the purpose, doesn't it?
what year is the tele Deluxe?
Have you played the Deluxe Nashville tele with the strat center pickup....if so, any thoughts/ GREAT VIDEO SUBSCRIBED
I thought about trying that, but haven't yet.
Great playing! So, which one did you prefer?
Can I say both? It depends if I'm in the mood for Traditional or Modern. I use them both! Thanks.
Very nice playing! Great tones! What amp and pedals are you using?
I think it was Guitar Rig 5 -
You play well, no doubt. Thank you. I prefer the American... you knew I was going to say that. lol
Super like
Like the Nashville better!
Steve Li same.
Wow, what amp may I ask?
+Joel del Pilar I think it was just Guitar Rig 5 Software in this video. It's through a UAD 2-610s preamp though. I use a Vox AC30 and Fender amps mostly. Thanks
Both guitar were singing, cnt really compare it
I wish my wife would let me leave all my stuff out 😁
I think he tried hard to make a kind of scenography for the vid.
I actually do have the guitars out like this all the time ! But it does make for an interesting background!
No offence intended... It just looks like right for the video, so assumed you made it on purpose. Congrats on your awesome collection and skill
No offence taken......there's always room for more guitars! :)
He should be proud of his guitars...heck I'M proud of his guitars! I found the deluxe slightly more balanced and "refined", and the Nashville more of a singer, although it seems you could drive or lay back on either and enjoy it all night. Excellent sound and artistry on both guitars, thank you.

Nashville...from a Jazz-blues-rock perspective
Nashville better sounding even though its got tex mex pups
American telecaster sounded better n superb
Not a real tele with noiseless pups and s1 and any other wizardry stuff that robs authentic tone.
