Not the most content rich, not the best looking, but definitely my favorite Forza game. The career mode peaked in this one. Every car served a purpose, you always had to think about your next championship, tinker around with your cars. And as a reward you'd always get a unique tuned-up car you wouldn't get in the dealership. Such a rewarding gameplay loop, even if the track count made things a bit repetitive at times. Came with a great soundtrack too!
Yea I do agree , definitely the not the most content but it feels properly spread out with the championships it offers and the soundtrack I couldn't agree more , I think I added like 10 or more songs into my playlist from this game haha
If anyone wants to try this game out I suggest you find the platinum hits edition that has the "Complete dlc" label on it. It includes all the dlc cars that are now delisted and a lot of them are worth it for a game from 2007. Obviously make sure you find a clean copy cause the dlc comes on a second disc that must be installed
I've played forza motorsports 2, a very fun game ! My xbox bricked afterwards (for other reasons) but it was a great game to have fun with I don't remember how but I ended up getting a crapton of money and fully modifying my cars, blasting through the competitions with a good ol' ae86 or civic, it was very fun !
Even though I already have FM4, I still play FM2. It's a simple, but enjoyable game. You need much effort for this because it already has many laps for beginner progress
Man this game holds a special place in my heart I got into it after it came out when I was in 8th grade the cars were so good like all the different variations of cars from all the tuning shops like do luck tommy kaira mines etc and the online is how I discovered what drifting was you could hop into a lobby that was strictly focused on drifting or drag racing I still remember to this day the fastest car the in the game is the ford GT40 and if you played this game when the servers were online you know about all the car designs people would sell in the auction house with naked anime girls on it ah the days before the auction house was moderated
The Amount of Unique Tuning cars, other world tracks, and a bunch of car manufacter that you wouldn't even expect in Racing Games, like Saab! Just so unique and underrated, really good back then to maybe become rivals to Gran Turismo Games, as well this games. You can customize Parts, Performance, and Visual meanwhile GT only can customize Parts (only Rims&Spoiler) and Performance They've to wait Visual customize until GT Sport
Was the first forza game i'd played back in 2008, that i bought as an ex-rental copy eventually. And it is still the only motorsport title i've fully completed, career mode that is. Any other ones, i still have yet to complete even though i had bought them all new when they had released. Picked up the DLC for them back when, so i have all of it on my 360 still, since you can't get it normally anymore. Had liked that some of the tracks were named after various snakes, the harder the track, the more deadly the type of snake is there, was a good little touch. So yes, the first title i'd played in the franchise, and is still a good little time as well. Would be nice to see you run through FM3 at some point down the line, always is a good time watching your stuff there
This and Horizon 1 were my most memorable and played racing games on Xbox 360. Even with Forza 3-4 just being better versions, there was something about FM2 that I liked so much better, I guess you could say it was the GT3/4 of the Forza series. Also it was one of the only games where I completed one of the endurance races and boy did I feel good but also exhausted after I finished it.
Looks like they were a bit too lose with car restrictions, letting you run a C class against D and so on. Between that and lack of tracks I could imagine it gets a bit dull after a while.
Fair look but with a title like that I'd have assumed Sega GT Dreamcast or 2002/Online on Xbox or more obscure actually more related to a title like that not oh Forza Motorsport 2 (comparison to 3-7 sure but in general nah irs still remembered more than other racing games aka ones with 1-2 entries then cut off, or PGR 1-4 not oh literally 10+ years of presence on Xbox and will always be around and rhe 1-2 entries in earlier eras people don't talk about sufe but not forgotten I out it in my 360 every so often I liked 2 more than 3-4 for a while and had all 3 360 entries close to each other when I got my 360) I mean I know many haven't played 1&2 and more so 3+ entries but still. 2 is a great different direction game. 3+ give out cars and credits/xp so easy and while 3&4 are solid and of course have less handholding as 5-7 or car rewards in more roulette (cough 6) or faster cars quicker as 3&4 offer per level suitable cars for events. 1&2 while sure going off GT4 they do a good job still being different. The country focus still didn't do much even though a cool concept but it has it's interesting start purpose at least. I like 1 for its tracks that never came back because of course real tracks focus over time which I hate the Forza games later doing. 2 is a fair refinement and of course the rest track layouts (not Complex String but still) love the UI, the cars work fine enough but tough handling later I find and trying to get levels while 3+ entries are so much easier at getting the level up. It's a fair game, the modes are good, handling is eh not as good as later games but it's different and fun because of the time it came out and stands out now from it's later entries for its differences.
Damn this all looked so familiar but I swear I only played forza 3 lol. The new stuff sucks with all the wokeness in it. Feel bad for the kids playing new games these days.

You need to get an RGH Xbox. That way you can get install games manually on your hard drive and have no issues with damaged CDs.
