I’ve actually been told you’ll burn more in a pedal than paddle kayak due to being able to maintain pedaling longer than paddling. Not sure how true that is but I could get it. A normal tournament I cover 6-8 miles paddling. I’m sure fun trip I probably cover a couple miles

Sheeeeeeeesh 6-8 miles is insane 😂. The most I’ve covered pedaling is maybe 9, and that was in maybe 8 hours of fishing, and I had a lot of water I “skipped over” that would have been interesting to hit up lol.
I figured paddling would burn more because it’s more strenuous on the body vs riding a bike on a smaller gear with little resistance.

Another great video! Lucky grab with the net on the one that popped off, lol. Your drop shot technique was pretty good and caught you a lot. Until next time " High Five " 🙋‍♂️

That one definitely had me laughing haha. It was a fun fish for sure. I need to test my drop shot skills on a big lake. High five✋🏽!! Tight lines

What’s up bro. I have caught fish all the way to the yak. I’ve peddled 11 miles in a day in my yak just to see if I could hang with the motor guys, I was exhausted. Now I have a NK180Pro w/ 60ah battery, worth every penny($1600).I get 5.7 while pedaling. Having a motor keeps the mind free and less fatigue on the water.
-Drop shot & wacky rig when it slows down
-Chatterbait, spinner, frog, glide, jerk, lipless ready to go at moments notice.

Thanks for sharing your day on the water 😎🤙🤛🏻
Sent your clips to a few homies. We’ll get you to 1k

Yeah I’d really consider a motor for tournament fishing for sure just to be able to cover more water. On more chill days, I enjoy slowing down and picking things apart more thoroughly haha. Thanks for the wisdom! I want to work on some glide fishing but man… can’t stomach spending 30$ on a cheaper one right now 😂. One day I’ll pull trigger and get one.
Thanks for sharing! Next big goal is 3k or 5k haha, or something lol

@@thatfishingnoob grab a Savage shine glide to help draw the larger fish. If you have followers then follow up with a wacky /drop shot/ jerk bait. Glides have drawing power. The savage shine glide is $20 and has good action . Not to bad. 😎🤙.
I learn this from Informativefisherman channel. It works
I still pedal but for a to b or getting out of heavy cover, the motor does it’s job baby.
