Great news mate about the potential move😊 I understand you trepidation the selling and buying process in UK is flawed buyers sellers can pull out at anytime so do right carry on as normal until it’s signed sealed and delivered fingers crossed pal🤞
Completely agree Mal, it is a difficult process. Really hope it works, because as you will appreciate, whatever your allotment situation, it is rarely 100% secure. 👍🤞
Hope the sale go's ahead, My path down the Garden is under water by about 4 inch's and I don't like walking on the beds so it's wellie time for me but your plot looks good, i think i'll have to put a ditch in like you have done, Oh well see you in two weeks Martin, Thanks for the News and the Video.
@@grahamrdyer6322 Thanks Graham! Although the forecast for the storm included torrential rain, we actually had almost no rain at all. But the extensive ditches I’ve dug have proved vital. Get the spade out mate!
Since I subscribed I think you very quickly said you were looking for a small holding? Were you initially looking in Lincolnshire? So this is good news to hear for you and your family. I understand what you say about continuing to maintain your plots. I suppose the thing to consider now would be the practicalities of moving materials and plants. Comparing the cost of transport. I once moved an allotment shed and tools etc a couple of miles. Hiring a van probably made it a poor economic choice, but at the time it seemed the best option. Looking forward to subscribing to the new channel.
@@andrewhead6267 Well remembered Andrew. Yes, initially we were looking at Lincolnshire, again mostly because of cost. There are so many variables regarding what I do about the plot. But if it all goes ahead, there is an awful lot of stuff I want to move to the property. I will keep all options open. Watch this space!🤪👍
Wow! the weather really has it in for you guys this year. My friend grows dahlias for show in south Wales and his grow tunnel is completely destroyed after a neighbouring greenhouse blew threw it. Good luck with the house sale/purchase, hope all goes smoothly.
@StitchInBudapest Of course the ideal situation is to work with the weather, but you’re right, the weather has at every stage been an obstacle this year! Sorry to hear about your friend’s poly tunnel, that is such a bitter pill to swallow. Thanks for the good wishes!
Well the storm literally vacuumed my manure out of 4 darlec bins and dumped it around the bases of them all, and on my new plot it left a big circle ripped out of my weed barrier netting, its been a weird old week🤔😂😂 I think the parasites are all in parliament tbh martin mate😂 The plot is looking well👌 Congratulations on the sale of your house, and the next step to your guys journey🙏
Thanks Graham! Strange that the wind would do that! Mind you, my neighbour John has lost one of his Dalec 😊bins. We searched high and low today, but it’s gone AWOL! Yes, Parliament definitely accounts for a large number of those parasites!👍😂 It is early days with the house situation, but fingers crossed!👍🤞
@067captain i still have my bins thankfully, just a bit of a shock with them being emptied, but saying that on the morning of it happening i thought we had an earth quake as the house shook, and ive just spoken to my neighbours and they had the same thing🤔🤷😂
🤞🤞🤞 so good and can’t wait to see the new house, but until the cheque clears it’s not that heavy sigh of relief moment. Oh I wouldn’t shut this down Martin you’ll have to build a following again. Just do the new name change etc as a flow along to the new vlogs. But definitely not telling you what to do 😂😂 Cheryl’s got that job. Glad there isn’t a lot of damage I’ve seen some horror stories. I know I always buy my footmen by the foot 😂😂. Who the hell tracks all this stuff 🤦♀️ and why 😂. I remember when we got a 1gb computer at work and we thought it was amazing 😂 my iPhone holds 256gb 😱. Gerald says if your a “ladies man” you date all women with the same name 🤣🤣 less likely to get in trouble saying another one. Yes I did 🤦♀️ Georgian. Yes but was Adam’s belly button full of fluff 🤔. When do,the kids get there from the frozen north I bet you can’t wait to see them ❤. Have a magnificent week, Ali 🌞🥶🇨🇦
@@myrustygarden Yes you’re right Ali, only when contracts are signed will we be able to relax. I didn’t know a channel name change was an option! Thinking about it, I think that is what Danny at grow up did! All my school reports said ‘works well when watched’! 🤣The storm really was bad, in fact the wind is still howling outside now. Yes looking forward to seeing the Canadian bunch! Your footmen comment is going to have me chuckling the rest of the day! Hoping you and Gerald have a quiet week! All the best, Martin.👍👏
Ali, you got me thinking (I know, dangerous)! Just watched a simple video on how to change the channel name. Really easy, so I am going to take your advice. Thanks!👏👍
