Did you check out the Hermit in detail that is on the mountain??? Check it out closely and you will see two horns beneath the Hermits headwear. The Hermit is actually Satan!
That's funny, those are the two songs I think of when I think of Zeppelin. I agree with AH though, and as good as Kashmir is, Stairway to Heaven is their masterpiece.
The Ocean at Madison Square '73 is the best 5 minutes of Zeppelin ever filmed, absolutely awesome... The Rain Song - greatest song ever written be ANY band, imho.....
I think the reason you don't like black dog is because it's overplayed even more than stairway to heaven! But for me I'll never get tired of black dog give me that Jimmy Page power cord anytime! In my all-time favorite Led Zeppelin song is Achilles last stand! Definitely proto power metal!
I always interpreted the cover photo as showing the development of rural into modern, an old cottage built when it was just country now falling down against the city that has replaced the country, plus the electric & folky aspects of led Zeppelin music. Did you know if you put the inside drawing of the man on the hill against a mirror it's the face of a dog? Black dog!!
Ive always wondered who the old man with the sticks on his back was since I was a kid, I asked my father and my uncle and they couldn't give me an answer; but now at last I finally know! Haha! Thanks Ralph.
I grew up listening to Zeppelin, Sabbath, Rush, all kinds of bands. Kiss, especially. Then when metal really happened, fukk! When thrash came out, I loved all of the bands. Still do. But I still love Boston, Bob Seger, Cheap Trick. Skynrd, all those bands are classic....
That's Juan Valdez's great grandpappy. He couldn't afford a fly-ass mule like his great grandson eventually owned, but my sources tell me that the family wealth came from more than just coffee beans, if you know what I mean.
"Are you Jimmy Page?" "Yes I am" "Have a seat Jimmy" "Wait.Who are you" "My name is Chris Hansen. I traveled back from the future in an investigation on rock stars who like to take advantage of underage groupies" "Oh. Let me introduce you to my friends Steve Tyler, Ted Nugget and Pete Townsand" "You know those guys? I have all thier albums. You think you can get thier autographs for my 50 year record collection? We will drop the investigation, forget this ever happened and you will all be considered legends in 2024" "Sure thing" "Thanks Jimmy. By the way the albums youre gonna do with Paul Rodgers are really gonna suck" "Whatever Chris'
All that matters is ... Led Zeppelin IV Kicks A$$! PLAY LOUD

What a great story to cover here, I hadn't seen the original photo, so cool. Thanks again
Love the names and the names of the towns in England
Great pictures as always.
Rumor has it that Lot Long was buried in a plot on that lot not long after he passed on
😅
❤ Cool Ralph ..!!
That's fascinating. I heard R. Plant say he wished they were remembered more for Cashmere than Stairway

Im one of the few that likes every Zep song, even everything on Coda
Cool video. I love Zeppelin IV.

No. Actuslly I never liked it from the first time I heard it. And that is strange because it does rock. Just does nothing for me.
@almosthuman56 I understand bro! Keep the rock news coming! Happy new year!
@zosometalgod Happy New Year!
This was great!
I thought it was Topol, that guy in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF.
Is that a 2019 calender in that picture of them looking through the kitcherig window?

I have not done that for years. I need to do it again and see if my memory matches the reality.
Oh wow. I did not know that
@@almosthuman56 did you try it? Yeah it's cool!

They did like their girls on the young side. In Europe the age for adult or legal age is lower, but damn. Lol

Yikes!! Hope you get the autographs. Maybe try and get a couple of autographs from P Diddy and JayZ 😅😅😅
@@rustybelboa6194 I just spoke with Chris. He doesn't like rap so the investigation is ongoing 😋
Those albums by The Firm did suck.
