Thanks I wanted to make a Star Fox 64 Undub, with your tutorial I managed to replace some voices! The problem now is the "custom sound must be shorter or equal than the original sound". But this isn't your fault no worries, actually thanks for that warning.
@@stunna0__091 As it is mentioned in the video you need to have the sample rate identical which is 7000 Hz for sf64. You can do this with sox or Audacity if you prefer a GUI.

Hey. Where is a coin sound? I can't seem to find it. Edit: Never mind I found it. But is there any other way to change sounds? Cuz this metod is kinda bad becouse of this toning thingy.
This is the method I used when making some older rom hacks, however, there could be better ways you can join hack64 discord and ask around, or simple flips discord has a ton of people who can help in the rom hacking section discord.gg/simpleflips (simpleflips discord) discord.gg/UAbhEqdqRF (hack64) tell me if you figure out a better method because I might replace this video with that instead if its good. Someone, however did mention a decompiled version of sm64 so that might be something else to look into.
It's because its decompiled. One modification can shift the entire rom making it not rom hack tool compatible. If you want to modify project power 95 you need to have the project power 95 decomp folder.
Did the emulator give you any error, or did it simply close? The issue could be that the sound is not mono, or the sound is longer than the one you replaced.

I’ve been trying this all day how did you get the sound to not be super deep in game im trying to redo the first dialog segment in corneria

its because that's a rom that deletes parts of mario 64 crucial for it to run in N64 Soundbank

This should work with most N64 games there might be better methods out there now but this should work.
