He did this kind of stuff 20x a day with nothing but his pickaxe, a gut full of Blackout Lager, and a long screw he thought looked neat he found aboard the space rig.
I did this solo just the other day (Hazard 3 though because my scout was underleveled at the time) It was hell. The 100 aquarq mission took me TWO AND A HALF HOURS TO COMPLETE, AND 90% OF THAT WAS SPENT KITING ENEMIES WHILE DIRECTING BOSCO TO MINE, THEN HAULING IT BACK TO THE MINEHEAD The psychological turmoil alone of doing the same thing over and over for that amount of time was not worth the ridiculous amount of XP and credits I received at the end of it. Also the mule didn't actually carry aquarqs for me, they kept falling out of it. That alone probably made the mission take far too long
This may have been doable if you guys stayed together instead of being seperate, Engi and gunner covering the other 2 as they get aquarqs, that being said....yeah this doesn't look like much fun even with a coordinated team, could be wrong, but it's hard to tell because it's clear everyone wasn't exactly thrilled to be playing this mission.

It's from the mod I'm using. drg.old.mod.io/mission-content-randomizer Supposedly it helps you haul aquarqs back to the minehead, but they kept noclipping out of it when I used it.
Scout is incredibly important to modded difficulty. It's a common mistake for people to assume that Scout has to serve as waveclear and end up spending too much time shooting grunts and praetorians. Scout acts as a mobile extension of the team, able to secure nitra in hard to reach places quickly or securing objectives such as morkite or minimules. He can scout ahead, warning the team of bad terrain or incoming spawns. Flares are invaluable. In combat, Scout is excellent at picking off High Value Targets such as web/acidspitters, menaces, shellbacks, and trijaws. IFGs are a godsend for crowd control and shutting down chokes. If the Gunner is running Volatile Bullets, a revolver OC that does massive damage to targets on fire, Scout can ignite far away targets for the Gunner kill with the Boomstick. Equipped with Cryo and Phero Bolts on the crossbow, Scout can help deal with excessive amounts of stationaries such as spitballers and nexuses or secure kills on far away breeders. Phero Bolts draw a ton of aggro away from the team, giving them breathing room.
Swarm Control is easier to use, but Custom Difficulty is far more powerful in what you can configure and setup. Custom Difficulty gives you far more control over what you can do with the difficulty file. Also, you cannot import or export Swarm Control difficulties with other people.
Yup, there's a killfeed mod. You can adjust it so not every single bug killed appears in the feed so it won't get flooded by the Driller melting hundreds of grunts and swarmers. Pretty useful for making sure that menace or breeder that got away did get killed by someone else.

Veteran depositor doesn't apply to aquarks. That one that lets you throw further would be the most relevant. Carry faster could also be helpful.

Hazard 5x2 Spicy. It's a difficulty by The Brain meant as a stepping-stone from Hazard 5 to 6x2 or for 6x2 players who want to chill.
