Uner Cover had its moments but the Stones spent 1983 t0 1988 fighting , Mick Jagger putting out two forgettable solo albums, and their group albums have been lame compared to what they use to do. Had Mick Taylor been playing with them from 1981 to the present MAGIC would of happened, but Keith Richards is jealous and kept the Ronnie.. I bet Mick Jagger misses Mick Taylor big time...Just my Opinion and before you bitch at me { Ronnie Lovers} I think Ronnie is a great guitarist but he will never play like Mick T. and I am a big Stones fan. I bought all their albums.
ghoula69 Mick left willingly, he was using heroin and didn’t want to become addicted to heroin like Keith. Simple as that. Keith wasn’t jealous at all, he called Mick Taylor a virtuoso and said he was the best guitarist in the band. Keith is not an ego driven guy at all.
Mick Taylor did rejoin for virtually an entire concert at least 2/3 of the concert Kansas 1981,look it up its on youtube, its freaking awesome, personally it was my favourate Stones period their punk period ,they play faster and meaner and its really good hearing ronnie keith and mick taylor all playing together in their prime as far as im concerned.I often play that concery when im in the bath, makes a mean bath time!
concery=concert.
"Some Girls" was HORRIBLE and that was proven by the Stones getting blown off the stage EVERY time that Van Halen opened for them. Those shows were a JOKE.
nobody plays guitar like mick taylor and i include clapton page beck etc the greatest ive ever heard
Well Taylor wrote this song and didn't get credited......as for woods....well you get what you pay for....
WOW! They sound good here! Mick sounds great!
He sounds terrible. That's not singing.
@@KimLong-v4i That's so funny. Why do people tune in to stuff they don't even like? And then continue to be so fulla shit about it?
@@deanallen927 why not?
They were great with mick Jones!!
Who?
It does not matter which guitarist you take, there are not many who can play as nice solos as Taylor.
But Jagger is holding Taylor back here in the song and having a hard time listening to this?
I have seen a comment from one person who said that Mick tended to noodle on and on and the band had to just go back into the song and Mick didn’t even notice.
Mick Taylor was just so magical guitar player with the Stones. The Stones recorded their best albums with Mick Taylor. One of the best guitar players ever but his career after the Stones hasn't been very successful for some reason. Maybe too modest person? I don't really know.
In Chicago they should invite Buddy Guy (obviously) and Buddy's guitar friend, Quinn Sullivan (Stevie Ray Vaughn).
Mick and Mick wrote this on Sticky Fingers...
Slow it down x75 it's closer to the tempo of the record
3:33 solo 😀
Mick T is like, this is my song and I'm going to kick ass. He was never given credit for helping to co-writing the song with Jagger.
That's Mick Taylor song
the best albums are with Taylor, but, he just dont fix, you hear these albums now and just dont sound like the stones, its a rare thing, but still, Mick Taylor was by far best guitar in the stones
you can see the awe in ronnies eyes.and the jealousy in Keefe
Man, Taylor is shit hot.
So smooth.
