Vickie is so very beautiful, 4 have 4 plants I've had for years , dark majestic, 2 light purples and a 2 tone double pink. These plants are very hardy. Your making me want to get me some more. My purple is rebooting. I just trim it down grows back and just keeps blooming. Thank you for sharing this with us Great video. Love all your video's ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hi Heidi! I’m thinking of adding an Obelisk with Clematis over my well pipe since it’s in my front garden. Need a smaller one. Would you recommend this or something else? What I have planted is a Lacey Leaf maple 4’, Yarrow (forget the color), Buddleia magenta, lavender and rudbeckia. Laurie ~

the color does vary based on the age of the bloom as well as how much sun/shade it is grown in and humidity levels. All clematis colors vary based on their environment.

It is a non cling form. I find it is best grown in a tomato cage or something similar to support it.

Does the Nelly moser change its color as it ages like the Vicki does?

The front of my house is west facing and the plants get hot afternoon sun . Can I grow clematis there ?
Yes you can. i recommend that they get good water and have their roots shaded. Now I should say if you are in the South this maybe different for you.
