Dude I just came across this cover again after like 5 years. This inspired me so much and is one of the main reasons I started learning to play, awesome cover
This is my favorite song to drum! I'm a beginner so I can only pull off a few songs from Green Day, but this is absolutely my fav. You gained a new sub btw!

That's awesome that you're interested in playing drums! I didn't get this kit until I had been playing for a long time as it was almost $5000 for everything. I didn't buy it all at once though. If you are just starting out that are still great kits out there that cost a lot less.
Yeah, I expected them to be way too expensive for me, lol. And yeah, that would be nice if you could link me some websites or something for some beginner drums. :)
I started out with a really cheap kit and the first upgrade I got was a Tama Rockstar kit. You should be able to get a great price for a used kit. There are a lot of options at that level, but I would look for a used kit and then put some new heads on it.

Awesome cover, I recommend you loosen the wingnuts on the cymbals as they look quite tight. Good to see drum covers where the drummer is really getting into it.
Thank you for watching! I ended up cutting the pads in half so I could still tighten down the wingnuts, but the cymbals could still move. I have a lot of fun playing Green Day songs!

Ha, yeah I had my cymbals way too tight for a long time after I got new cymbal pads. I even cracked a couple! I cut the pads in half so they are nice and loose now! Thanks for watching!

Hello Daniel and thanks for watching! I'm using a Meinl Byzance heavy ping 22" cymbal on the choruses. I absolutely love that cymbal!!! It's the only cymbal I have kept the same over the last 10 years.

Hey Mark, I think I've got about 5 grand in this kit. I actually bought the toms and kick off a former C&C endorsed drummer for a good price or it would have been more. I love it though and have been playing it for about 10 years now.
