Great advice as always Ott, I do love crank baits, and just love how you let us know The Y it works how it works and the difference in each one great job
Love these breakdowns Ott! Could you do a video kind of explaining what to look for and how you fish for bass on our east TN lakes here in the November to February months? That’s be awesome, it’s been a real struggle here on Douglas Lake lately
Yeah man that’s gonna help!!! Still need me some Rocco’s!!! We had cold front come through Friday and the fish tore up a red slim!! They wouldn’t touch my DTs. Thanks for the help buddy!!!
Awesome vid, OT!! Enjoy your insight on hardbody Lure designs. That Rapala Shad Rap has done well at my local water body. The fish have been coming out of the cattails to hit my squarebills and medium diving lures.
Mid August here in NC, I caught a 3lber on the Strike King Chick Magnet and the next day caught two 3lber back to back on your OG Slim in Bream!! I usually only throw them when it gets cold but I was on new heavily pressured water so I gave it a try and wallah 💥!!!!
Great break down. Back in the 80's I used the wiggle wart in white it was fantastic. Still have one new one can't get any white ones. Tiny looks great I'll have to get some & try them.
I second the motion for a mid-depth tiny or just a hair larger. The berkley dredger is similar but doesn’t have the action, nor the confidence as the Rapala OG series
Thanks for sharing your crankbait knowledge I can remember about when they came out and those Shad rap people were renting them what's the best water temp to start throwing that old Shad wrap and what do you throw it on spinning rod or baitcaster
Great video sir! Do you direct tie any of your crank baits Including the lipless? Rod for crank baits ? Would a 7ft3” medium casting rod work if using braid to fluro?
I'm a huge crankbait fisher. You mention wiggle warts. Do you have or have you fished any of the original pre Rapala wiggle warts? If so how do you like them compared to the Storm version? I love the old pre Rapala warts and I personally think that they hunt a lot better than the newer ones.
I am developing a love for all baits designed by Ott.
I am not a bass fisherman but the videos have helped me to understand bait movement more and have helped to land more steelhead and salmon
Great advice as always Ott, I do love crank baits, and just love how you let us know The Y it works how it works and the difference in each one great job
Thank you, Ott!
Thanks Ott, your crankbaits are top notch

How much does the size & color of the eye make on crankbaits? 👀 Or does it depend on water clarity? Curious. Thanks for all your tips. 🙏 🇺🇸 👍
I use the no. 5 shad rap at high rock lake this time of year
The rod/reel you have there is that what you use with those baits. What is the set up and line? I throw shad raps on spinning tackle.
this was helpful.. thank you
Great video sir!

Great video. Are you using snaps fishing? If so, which size? Thanks.
Hey Ott do you think that the hot copper green shad can be used to mimic bluegill?
Ott, do you ever use a snap on crankbaits in competition
So Ott,are your wiggle warts pre rapala or are you using current offerings?
I noticed a snap ring on the wiggle wart. Do you use snaps or tie direct?
Is that a pre Rapala Wggle Wart? How much? 😂
It’s hard for me to put down the DTs so I can put some time in with the OGs!
This guy
What do you throw your shad raps with?
What gear do you use for the og tiny?
