The best part of this episode was that Dean can survive fighting demons, vampires, wendigos, etc., but dies from food poisoning, slipping in the shower, and getting mauled by golden retriever!! The funniest episode ever and still one of my favorites.
When I was 14yo I watched this with my older brother and kept a so vivid memory of this episode through years, but I had never known the name of the show. Now, after almost 10 years, watching Jensen in The Boys I had strange sensation connected to this memory and so I searched if he was one of the brothers... and he was! I must start watching Supernatural now
I STILL laugh like I did the night "Mystery Spot" was first aired when Sam and Dean repeat each other's sentences in unison. It was moments like these that made "Supernatural" a show to love.
When I first watched this episode for my first time. Dean is legit my bæ and I’d take a fricking bullet for him even though he’s fictional, and I love him so damn friggin much. And when he kept dying, I kept fricking crying.

watched all 15 seasons and this is still my favorite episode in the entire series especially since Sam went a whole six months ruthlessly killing monsters after dean “died” but all of it was erased by the trickster so he basically lived half a lifetime in 2 days
It’s so weird that Gabe made Sam experience Dean being dead in order for him to be used to it and then when Dean actually died it wasn’t even as long as Gabe had conditioned him for.
Watching supernatural for the first time and after finishing this episode I straight up went to youtube comments to find out what people thought of this episode 😂
Before Dean gets smashed, I found it so sad that his last words were, "Who wants Chinese?" 😂😂👏
