The 8 and se 2020 and practically similar. The se is just mostly faster and gave portrait mode

That’s really nice to be able to use a new iPhone congratulations! I’ve always watched iPhone for afar for 10 years because my parents never bought it, neither there was a budget for it. Recently bought an XR after working and saving for a year, I wanted SE but the only reason why I deviated was because of less battery, I was switching from 5000maH to 2980maH and even lower would be a bit of a stretch. I find SE more beautiful and keep coming back to these unboxings

I wonder when they switched to the thinner box for the iPhone SE and when they stopped including the power adapter because the box mine came in was the regular size and it had the power adapter when I got it back in May!
I think when the 11 or 12 came out it all changed :/

The phone port is actually still Lightning because only the end that plugs into the wall brick is usb c.

iphone se 2nd gen 😍 but the new box is 😭. you'd better get usb-c power adapter because the new box will only gives you an usb-c to lightning cable, which is a bit disappointing since you can't re-use the old adapter if your old one has usb-a connector

Hi, did you know that you can still use the old USB to lightning charger with your iPhone, it doesn’t have to be USB c if you dont want
Yup! Sadly I didn’t know that before because Apple suggested in my cart that I get the new plug. That’s Bc the new charger that comes with the phone has a USBC port and not a normal USB port. Still lightning port tho! So I can use a different charger if needed

Should I buy iPhone SE 2020 or not
That all depends on what you like in a phone, it has a good camera with portrait mode, a great battery, and a sleek look. It doesn’t look as good as an 11 or 12 but that’s the point! If you go to apples website they have great comparisons between each phone
its already too late, bit ill still say it, charge your iPhones with low wattage charger as if you regularly fast charge your phone and in this case the iPhone se will probably require 2 charges per day, the battery health will drop, very very quickly.
i got my Se 2020 at the end of october and now in april the battery health is at 93% because i used to use a very powerfull fast charger earlier, which i stopped using as i notices the battery heath dropping, so now i use the teeny-weenie 5-watt charger the used to come in the box. use a 10 or a 15 watt charger...
also congrats on the new buy, the white Se 2020 is really wonderful, and its my first time using an iPhone and it is amazing!

Just ordered this. I realized that it is so stupid to spend 1000+ on a phone. There are so many more nice things you can buy with that money. I am saving up for my first car for example 🤗
Edit: I love that you showed a comparison between the 8 and the SE. Definitely prefer the white from the SE. But I really like the white bezels. But that comes down to a preference. Loved the 8 when it came out but in comparison, it looks like it has turned grey from smoking 🤣 I know the 8 has been labeled as silver but still.
Also, I live in Germany and ordered the phone from the US just that I don't have that CE Logo and the recycle bin at the bottom. Yes, I am that crazy 🤣 It's so dumb that they still have to print those on in the EU

Also it’s so bad here at the moment everything is closed including the driving school. So I can’t even take my driving lessons. But maybe there is a chance. If you have a job that’s important for the system like I do (mobile nurse, we drive to the people’s home) you can get lessons. I hope that works for me as well. I am so pissed. The driver’s license is so expensive here like 2300 euros and I can’t even move on. Luckily my work pays for it.
