I had literally just started , and had I not gotten a grinder , I can safely say I wouldn't be trying to do this craft anymore. It is SUCH a huge time saver. You never want to sit down to work on something and feel like it's work .. at least I don't. Not something like this. I want to enjoy it. And the glass grinder was huge.
What do you use for a floor protector or do you .. I have dogs. I am currently using a fire place board/ mat. I just sweep up after work. Carpet seemed like a good idea but it wasn't. Shards got embedded.
😮 I haven't used one but it'll help with the crazier cuts for sure. But I'd stick with simpler straight cuts for your first projects and work your way to that ring saw. Good luck with it!
I was given an old version of an inland wizard, it doesnt have the splash guard and im trying to figure out if i can rig something to make it work, but, do you think it really matters if it is a newer or older version? Thank you for your videos!!
It doesn't matter if it's new or old as long as it works and you can get a new grinding bit and you're good to go. For the splash guard, you could shield around with a cardboard or put the grinder inside a sideways aquarium to catch the water and glass bits. Have fun!
I also had luck with getting a glass grinding bit for my Dremel. If you already have a Dremel and don't want to fully upgrade to a grinder you can get the grinder bits for ~20$

There are replacement silicone tips for the running pliers available on Amazon.
Yes thanks for the tip! (No pun intended) Easily replaceable if needed.
I bought the light for my Inland grinder. I used your code! Arrived in 2 days!
Thank you😊
The clear rubber guard on my running pliers is coming apart. Do you know where I can get replacements?
Hi amazon sells them. Check your pliers but these will probably work. amzn.to/3yDxf3o

I work in the garage and sweep often but no pets or kids allowed kinda work zone.
I have inherited a ring saw. about 20 years old. Not sure if it is going to make things easier or more complicated. Any thoughts?

Don't use that. Glass dust in your lungs..you can never get it out. So so bad for you. It is worth every penny for a grinder with water
@@lisalemaster9383 I was using wet glass and a respirator mask with p100 filters in it
