I just watched Johnny Lingo.....I cried at the end...I love the fact that the Polynesian nd Island people tell stories of their history nd culture thru song is so beautiful....

This movie is based on real events which occurred with The Tongan King who married a Samoan Woman named Tuhoia. Tonga was once in Samoa until they were chased out and basically went back to Samoa many years later and left with a Samoan wife in peace which is now called the Tu’i Kanokupolu

I used to work for the company(tni) so when the film came out we had to attend as tickets were given to random people to come and see the film and they wanted us to sell product. After the soundtrack arrived at our office that video would just be playing over and over for hours and it got stuck in my head for the longest, now I just remember the kids chorus.
