I removed dome, crown & grapplers. Then clamped a 2 X 6 to my work bench with a gap for plates. I then ran the plates under hot water a few minutes to soften them up and gently and lightly added curve. Even did the side plates. It is possible on 4mm. Just have to take your time and work gently.
I will definitely have to look into this and attempt it at some. I may make a video of my attempt if you don’t mind later on down the road. Im also going to pin this comment for others who may want to do the same. Thank you for sharing the info! Thats awesome

Yeah I always thought the WCW world champion belt was the best looking belt over all belts . I also thought the United States champion belt looked great also from WCW
This championship and the attitude era championship replica have the flat center plate which a lot of people don't like but I think the flat center plates make the belts seem a little bigger than they actually are. A little funny thing is this championship comes in a black bag with a blue wcw logo but the 91-94 version comes with a blue bag with a black logo
Ive heard nothing but good things about it, im even interested in the one wwe shop has rn. Im weird when it comes to stuff like this cause I want it to be an officially licensed product.
I recently purchased the wcw big gold championship myself. Ordered it on July 3rd and got it on July 6th. I ordered it because I was a wcw kid and wanted both versions of the wcw world heavyweight championship. Both belts are amazing in their own way
I often like how peeps forget that for a time the WCW title plates were a bit flat naturally and honestly it wasn't until the wCw/ECW Invasion in 2001 that there was some curves added to the title. So I'm content with it looking the way it is. 👍

Sounds like you could easily find that info when WWE had its own shop website but now that it’s part of Fanatics, I can’t seem to find any info on that part. Do you know what the current size on the website is by any chance?
Dude I am so sorry im late to this comment. The easiest way to tell back then and probably still now is the WWE version is 2mm and the WCW is 4mm which is what I have in this video. I hope this still helped and I hope you got what you wanted, again my apologies

That’s until I started diving more into the belt community and doing more research and realized they were going to release a new Crumrine version, which came out about a month after I made the purchase, so I returned it to get that one but it went out of stock before I got my refund issued so I’m still waiting on it to come back to the shop.

you lucky. i got the same belt and the bag it came in has the WWE network logo and the words "WCW heavyweight championship replica" on it. i would have loved to gotten one that had WCW on the bag. instead of the network logo. but its a nice belt. love it.

The BG is my favorite belt and i bought this version back in June and i love it!!!! Love looking at it i also have fandu BG and WWE 2mm BG too but this version is close to the original besides not being dual plated it's look more like the Rock version when he was WCW champ and i going to leave it flat too i not risking curving it Great video and Gorgeous Belt of course!!!

Id recommend it while the shop is still producing them, I would also watch out for when they do 25% off, they do it all the time, almost every week. If you really want, they might do Black Friday sales too which im excited for!
Damn my came in the same box and it came damage the box. Therefore I seen some scuffs and marks with my undisputed so I'm sending it back and getting a new one. My next is this belt but I'm not sure if I wanna get this or the fandu on black friday
Sorry to hear and sorry for late response I hope you got the issue fixed, personally I went with this belt and I thought about the fandu its just a matter of preference, I don’t think you can go wrong with either.

Box came in extra damage and the belt bag itself had scratches and bents on the bag art and the belt was in worst shape than the first, scratches on the main plate I returned it. I can get a used one on eBay for less. I missed out on a opportunity to buy one at 175 so I'm kicking myself in the balls for it
