- Officials with the California Highway Patrol have closed down northbound lanes of the 5 Freeway in the Boyle Heights area after reports of a shooting, officials confirmed to KTLA.

Perhaps the person was already dead and on their way to the morgue. It is possible that the shooting was not the cause of their death. Possibly they ODed on drugs before the shooting and their friends were taking the corpse to the county morgue!
