the tihai does not end with 32 beats and the chadardhar does not contain 27 x 3 or 16 x 5 beats. up until the tihai and chakardhar everything was fine. thihai does not have all the beats even with many silent beats in teentaal the same goes for chakardhar. i spent an entire evening trying to make some sense of it but failed. please can some knowledgable person type in the full thihai with numbers and the same for chakardhar. many thanks
You are right, Tehai does not end with 32 beats. Here it is end in 33 beats. 32 complete the 2 cycle of teental and Dha comes to sam that is in 33 beats. In this video Dha came to sam in 33 beats. Sam always is 1st beat. The first chakradar each palla was11 matra. Some chakrdar & chakradar tehai composed in Quadruple speed of the taal. its some times fit also in single tempo and sometimes does not fit in that speed. So it is particularly composed on quadruple speed. If you composed tehai in 27 x3 =81 beats or 16x5=80 cycle complete and sam is coming to 81, That means with dha it is 81 total matra.some composition end in 25 beats one cycle we give one pause which is in single tempo or if we play it's in quadruple speed it goes 3 beats gap similar to 1 beat in single tempo.. Just example one 27 beats chakradar in vilambitlaya teental- Dhagetete tagetete kredhatete tagetete | (kredhatete)x3 tagetete |ketereketedhe tetekata gadighene nagetete|( gheentara-nedhage tetekata gadighene Dha - ) x3 }x3This total three times you count it will complete in 81 beats. here it is only half pause after Dha. composition depends on different bols different and different laya. in email is not possible to understand everything. What i have played in that link all tehai and chakradar correctly came in to the sam and matras and gaps are all same in all palla. That is the main in tehai system.I am not sure whether i could understand you or not. Any way I like your comments. Thank you so much for your reply.
