Keep changing the footstraps, Winter shoes (Brouwersdam, NL) too summer shoes (Brouwersdam, NL) too no shoes (Lake Garde, Torbole/Ostsee, Fehmarn). Also the wideness as the wintershoes are wider then the summer shoes. Each time a struggle to find the correct settings. Now with the JP straps a bit easier as they have numbers inside 😁. Great video!
I thought in a gybe or when controlling the board you want to lift/drop your foot against the top of the strap to alter the trim of the board. Making the straps so high won’t that make it harder to do this?
I did not know that you should set the strap tight on the sides and high on the top. Will give it a try this weekend. Thanks for the advise.

Hi! I get your point. Even if it’s high it allows you do carve even harder and radical:) So it’s just a bonus to have them in a safe high position:)
Just broke my left foot a month ago. Going to try a wider setting?
At least high enough:)
