Dear Theo and Zoe, initially we started our family with a puppy, shortly before you two came into our lives. Today, Kobe turns 7, and although he is still physically active, it is hard to ignore the signs of him slowing down. Eventually, you two will both learn that life is short, and unfortunately, even shorter for dogs. As you two get older, Kobe will get older, and in time, we will inevitably lose him long before we are ready to let go. In times when you two feel you might need some comfort, I hope this video can help you understand that the happy moments will outweigh the one unavoidable sad moment. The beauty in dogs is that they ask for so little but give you much in return. So today, on his 7th birthday, let's try and cook something special for him.
