So I have this cheap guitar that doesn't have a truss rod. It's kind of bowed a bit (concave) and it buzzes on some frets. Would levelling the frets fix the buzzes? It would be helpful, thank you
Probably not. Truss rod access would be either in the sound hole or at the headstock. Fret level and crown would cost you over $100 at most places. I'd just buy a good used guitar.

Hmmm, No 'sharpie' used on the tops of the frets initially in order to determine high/low spots????

My guitar "breedlove" has the same problems. A lot of buzzing on that B string. AD25SM Korean made.
Just needs a good set-up.
Re nut to fix the b buzzing just bring it up a smidgin
