Nice video. Your jet boat is similar to mine, I installed grab/ lean bars which is a nice add giving clients a secure casting platform. When we are sight fishing for carp and gar in the sloughs and marsh areas, I use the bluetooth trolling motor just as you have. When I am fishing the swift waters on TVA controlled tail race rivers for trout and striper, the trolling motor pops off the mount and an anchoring system fits onto the same mount allowing me to drop anchor and stay in place. Good luck, you have a great fleat that will serve you well.
Nice set ups. I’ve been kicking around the idea of a river boat. I fish the rivers in my kayak now, but there are some restrictions without a motor to go upstream.
I love the video but I had a question. I run lakes like leesville and peidmont, Atwood and tappan. Is that big 50hp really worth using? Or can I get a 25 hp and it still push the boat just fine? I guess my question is, is a 50hp motor only used for Lake Erie or does it have good use in smaller lakes?
That' scary when Brian is the smart one and remembers his rain gear. Now for the important question, if you had to choose one of the boats which one would it be?
