Been following your channel for a couple weeks now. I bought the same boat in March, it's my first fishing boat, east coast NC. 6hp on it...really debating selling my motorcycle to get a 20hp. Love the videos man
Up to you. But I’m sure the 6hp pushes the boat plenty fast!
Get a 9.9 hp and get the 20 hp conversion kit. It’s just a fuel plate replacement and an ECU. It will run about $500 extra. May be a cheaper option if you don’t mind tinkering and an easy fix.

I have the same year and model grizzly 1436 and some of my welds in the deck cracked after taking it out twice. How’s yours looking after multiple trips?
Good no issues, I’m maybe 10trips in and I do not baby it
@@WeekendPirate that’s real shocking. 4 of my welds cracked under little stress
@@Offshoretripp I jump boat wake with it at 30mph. Inconsistency with their welds I guess
