I’ve been wishing this exact product existed for years! Lol. I have a theft resistant purse for traveling, and it has a similar design through the straps (though thinner cable, etc). I always wondered why no one did something similar with heavier duty cable for cam straps. Thanks for sharing!!

I know what you were thinking! When they approached me, I was like, this is exactly what I need! I have also been looking for something like this over the years. Whenever I have had kayaks strapped to a roof rack, over a long trip, I have always been concerned about them being stolen. Safe adventuring in 2022 and God bless!

Also, have you ever paddled the Blackwater river located in the panhandle of Florida,..Milton Fl, area? If not, you need to check it out.
It's the only pristine sand river left in the United States. It's so unique, the state of Florida purchased and designated it as a state forest.

Dude! You seriously need to get off your high horse! You would need cable cutters, most people don’t have one in their pocket when they notice a kayak on top of a roof rack. All locking devices can be broken through by a criminal, if they REALLY want your stuff. For most criminals, this will keep them from stealing your stuff. Again, if they REALLY want it, they are going to get it! Criminals are criminals, because they are lazy and take the easy way out. If they gotta work for it, they will go and steal another one. What do you use to tie up your kayak, 50 pounds of chains!?!?

I get what you’re saying, but most criminals are going to choose the path of least resistance, and these straps definitely make it harder for them.
