I am so happy I came across to this video tutorial, since I just bought the 90D. Excellent explanation. I just want to say for those who are totally new to photography, to get aquatinted with the terms of shutter speed, aperture, iso, exposure and metering so it can be easier to understand the camera.
No kidding. I purchased this camera last year and still find myself searching TH-cam videos to show me how to work certain functions. I use my iPhone more often than this thing. I feel like I need a degree from MIT to make it work.
My wife just bought this camera from a friend and of course immediately dropped it in my lap and said.. show me how to use it.. your video is a god send..
Excellent video on a fantastic camera! The learning curve is steep but exciting and one thing I did that has been a great help was to buy "Canon EOS 90D For Dummies." It's great for learning and as a reference if you get to a, "What do I do in (fill in the blank)?" situation!
That is such a great video! Thanks for this. I just bought this pretty baby and I am also a beginner. I still have a 2000D but wanted the 90D and some special lenses sooo badly. 🤭
Hello, I have this camera, and I dont know how I've made it, but when I'm using manual modes, the photo appears with two green/blue bars( on top and bottom). Any way to remove this? Thank you in advance and cheers from Portugal!!
Sorry no you can't change to use the screen at the same time. You can't have the video signal sent to two viewers at the same time. There is no setting in the 90D menu to facilitate viewing on both screens.
Somebody new to photography would find nothing but heartache by buying a 90D. It's not meant for beginners, like Ferraris aren't meant for learner drivers.
I asked Canon if it is a cam for beginners and they said to me: ,,It depends on who operate with it." I am also a beginner and bought this one. I will have lots of fun with learning and taking pictures! 😁

Just know that this is an aps c camera. The 5d mk iv is kinda the full frame equivalent.
