  • Explore Joshua Tree for the first time with us. You'll learn the mistake we made, and what we'll do differently next time. Most importantly, you'll get a good understanding of what to expect in each campground so you can plan ahead. The north and south areas of the park are very different. Each has its strengths and unique beauty. We'll even briefly show you the free BLM camping outside the park. We love dispersed camping, but you'll see that in this case, you get what you pay for. Join Randy and me as we explore the park. We will definitely come back again and again. Enjoy! ~ Trisha Selgrath
Check out the other video where we hike to Mastodon Peak.

A bit of a Dramamine video, but it was very helpful in reviewing campgrounds. Thank you!

I'm learning. Thanks for hanging in there. We recently took our boys there for Christmas and they thought it was cool. Most of the interesting campgrounds are on the north side of the park. ~ Trisha

(From other YT videos) the Joshua Tree is actually in the yucca family...secondly, I think Starlink may help to improve your phone signal...thanks for your video - you have helped me to experience JTNP all the way from Philly (PA)...blessings...

You are correct! So far, the reviews are mixed on Starlink for RVs. We're going to wait a bit for them to get more coverage but we're continuing to look at options. Thanks for your input. Randy was born in Harrisburg, PA. ~ Trisha

@@wanderwonders1221 Trisha, you're welcome...and thanks for the info on Starlink...I've been considering nomading in the SW desert region (leaning towards Mojave Trails Nat'l Monument, but open to other areas), and Starlink was on my supply list - and now maybe I need to investigate further...Randy is a PA man like me...Harrisburg is about 2 hrs. west of Philly...I'm a born-again believer, and my trip to the Harrisburg area in past years was to attend a yearly conference down Rte. 15 towards Gettysburg (held at Messiah College/University in Grantham)...thanks again...hug a Joshua Tree for me🙂...blessings...
