- The Bloukrans Bungy is the world's highest(216 Meter) commercial bungy bridge. It is also the highest commercial natural bungy jump in the world. The Bloukrans Bridge located on the Garden Route in South Africa. It spans the river Bloukrans in Tsitsikamma National Park.The jump is pure adrenaline. See yourself...
It has been operated by Face Adrenalin commercially since 1997.

When in SA in 2014 our tour guide told us it was coming up, We will be stopping to witness some jumps and we need three volunteers! Despite knowing he was joking, I approached him and said if the rest of the bus doesn't mind a slight delay on our next hotel arrival, That I would do this! The rest of the bus much older than myself was quite pleased to see me do it!

Yep, as a South African I know the Bloukrans River bridge very well, but it is also known as the suicide bridge because of the many many suicides since it opening. Some victims are only found after someone stumbled on their corpses or bare bones weeks or months later. Cameras and a suicide phone was placed on the bridge many years later, but it does not deter any of the people who jumps to their death, while the camera is watching.

I would never go bungee jumping because even though it seems fun I would not want to risk my life just for that I think it’s not safe I would feel sick walking up to that bridge
