    I love this watch because it's easy to check the time during a meeting (under the table, of course) without anyone noticing.

    I bought one about two years ago. I love that I can check time without having a cheap recording Blair it out to the entire room. It looks great! The only things I don’t like are that it’s on the thicker side, and it’s also kind of a pain to adjust the time. Still a great watch though.

    I was a kick starter backer for this watch Wayback in the day. It is very nice, we totally get another one if it wasn’t so expensive. I have since switched to an Apple Watch, so don’t get any use out of it anymore. But the tactile time telling was really nice and I also found the shiny balls easy to see.

    glad I came across this, I have been thinking a while about watches, and I before loosing sight, I was an avid watch collector. whilst I like the sound of this, 1, I think it may be too chunky for me, and 2, I think I would get so much more out of an Apple Watch - but, was nice to hear about it

    As a blind person, I can’t help but think some of you guys are missing the forest for the trees. I remember going through school, and using the old cheap looking, ignorant sounding talking watches with the crowing alarm. don’t you remember, certain ones that had the problem of when the battery was dying, suddenly it would start crowing for no apparent reason? Aw yes, then there was the braille watch; over bulky, not stylish, that old man stretch band, that would pull all of the hair out of your arm. I remember how the top always ended up falling off and getting loose on the three that I owned, that I had paid plenty of money to try to get a more presentable watchband for, and now reside in the back of some forgotten drawer. At last, long live the Apple Watch, I got in on that as soon as they came out. I have nothing bad to say about them, however, many of you point out the price of the Bradley, while talking like the Apple Watch is cheap! Return to Reality, where the Bradley is still cheaper than the Apple Watch. But the Apple Watch is a smart watch, you’ll say, and this thing is just some kind of plain old watch! well, there is the factor of style to consider; don’t get me wrong, blue jeans and T-shirts are an every day driver for me, but I work in situations that require a higher form of dress, and my Apple sport watch, does not look normal with a suit, or even business casual clothing. of course, it is acceptable to most everyone, because it is an Apple Watch, however, that doesn’t mean that it looks the part, if you are talking about more formal dress. I learned of the Bradley, because though I love them, taptic Time has turned into a disaster on the Apple Watch, and I am often in situations where I need to check the time without making a big old scene of it, and the watch just start talking and blubbering. there are times when I feel like I have a $400 version of the old talking crowing watch. so, look at the big picture, is all I am saying. Also, keep in mind, this is a designer type accessory, not something that talks and crows, has that really sporty black nylon band, and was made in China. That’s all I’m saying, consider the big picture, and applaud a company who is willing to make an accessory that is fashionable, and works for us without modification or extra expense. Congratulate them. I plan on buying one of these myself, as I stumbled across it, wondering if the world of braille watches had ever improved.

    Hey Sam.
    I think if I remember correctly Matt from blind to billionaire has that watch.
    Now for me I don’t usually care if it looks good or if it’s stylish or anything like that. When I look for a watch, I will look for something that’s going to be practical in my every day life. So after watching your SUNU BAND Video several times and researching about it I realized that this is the watch for me. As of right now I am a beta tester for the Sunu Band.
    Thanks again for another awesome video Sam. But I will agree with you that it would be nice if more watch companies would consider making watches for the visually impaired. See you in the next one buddy!

      Did you no the apple watch works for the totally blind. I have no vision at all and use mine fine. You can just look up how it works. It talks, and you navigate the screen with different touch commands. It can even vibrate out the time, and if you really want, you can connect it to a braille display. This is all called voice over. I just wanted to tell you so you do not think you have to give up your apple watch.

  • @charlie6849
    @charlie6849 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's really nice but I think that they have priced themselves out of the market. When you compare it to a smart watch which is around the same price range it's too expensive. At one stage I really wanted one because it would mean that I would be able to tell the time without having some chirpy thing ring out in a quiet meeting when I wanted to know the time because I had other appointments. tried a braille watch and I found that it wasn't right for me. I showed a loved one the watch they too said that it cost too much for what it does.

    I am a huge watch nerd, but sadly over half of my watches i never wear because I can not tell what time it is.. The price is great, for a one off, no one else will have one like it. I garuntee you that a guy wearing a $20k Rolex would ask you what watch you are wearing. It is on my list..
