I think it's worth mentioning that paying house bills where your children live is part of your obligation even if you decide to leave. It is different from when you are just dating someone and break up with no kids involved. I've seen men (including my own father) financially neglecting their own children and not wanting to contribute because they said they don't live there. A real men will never neglect their kids and also not punish the ex financially just because they broken up.
I walked away in July 4 days after my bday. Was told she lost feelings for me but she " was a coward" and couldn't tell me...I did reach out one month after the break up and then 3 months after. Good luck tho, I really hope you end up in a better place. In my opinion, no contact should be a saved for when a person is unresponsive to attempts at communication. When you know you haven't done something totally awful and as a means to give each person time to think and process their thoughts and not be as reactive to each other. Then when you re-initiate communication it's not a continuation of an argumentative dynamic where people are being defensive and are more likely to misinterpret things. If you know for sure you have done nothing wrong and don't deserve the treatment your ex has been giving you then it should probably be them that make the effort to talk to you though. You talked about paying bills in this video, I want to get back my ex wife and been separated about a month. That is when I started no contact, first week or 2 we still texted but was very minimal, about bills and such, nothing about me and her. I think it's worth mentioning that paying house bills where your children live is part of your obligation even if you decide to leave. It is different from when you are just dating someone and break up with no kids involved. I've seen men (including my own father) financially neglecting their own children and not wanting to contribute because they said they don't live there. A real men will never neglect their kids and also not punish the ex financially just because they broken up.
I walked away in July 4 days after my bday. Was told she lost feelings for me but she " was a coward" and couldn't tell me...I did reach out one month after the break up and then 3 months after. No reply to either text. Never texted her again after that. She still monitors my social media, likes almost every single post. But around Valentine's day she had a new dude completely opposite of me. If I was her new man and I knew my girl was all over my exes social media I'd be concerned. I did no contact but broke NC after 2 weeks. Thot I was emotionally detached as I was ready to accept any outcome, boy was I wrong! He got upset with me why I didn't call him and meet up with him when he asked me to couple weeks ago, he turned the table completely on me. We were good for a few hrs but back to square one. I felt so angry at him and called him out, in a very mean way.

In my opinion, no contact should be a saved for when a person is unresponsive to attempts at communication. When you know you haven't done something totally awful and as a means to give each person time to think and process their thoughts and not be as reactive to each other. Then when you re-initiate communication it's not a continuation of an argumentative dynamic where people are being defensive and are more likely to misinterpret things. If you know for sure you have done nothing wrong and don't deserve the treatment your ex has been giving you then it should probably be them that make the effort to talk to you though.

From a woman's perspective, she is rude because she's hurt, but it also means she still very much cares. It's likely she's wanting you to sit her down and discuss things, and make apologies. Perhaps suggest counseling. I'm only commenting because men and women really don't understand each other. It's a real struggle. But when women walk away, it's usually in hopes of waking up the man, and coercing him to open up, to listen, and to work on himself. Women don't feel heard, and men often neglect us (take us for granted, or so we feel that way).
