- Life in a truck camper can be amazing when you have good friends and a beautiful river to spend the day at. We woke up this morning in our friend Larry's yard. We stayed here for the rest of our time in Fredericksburg. Its FREE, who can pass that up. We found a hole in our shower floor so we stop in Ace Hardware to pick up some flex seal tape and repair it. We spent the day at the Llano River, Cody fished and Kellie soaked up that vitamin D. That evening Kellie cooked fish sandwiches.

Any day fishing is a good day, even if you don't catch anything 😊. Where I trout fish, I can't use a fly rod. I use an openface reel and really light rod. But my choice of bait is raw shrimp. Works really well here in MO. Yummy fish sandwiches! Love how Kellie toasted the bread...what ever works, lol. Whole new meaning to bug zapper.
Cody's biggest catch is his Angel Princess. Any fish he catches now is bonus (~);}!!

I grew up camping and also enjoyed many years of camping with my late partner here in Pennsylvania. I love your videos. I'm a 70 yr old grandma. I just have to say sometimes my eyes open wide when I see the portion size you guys eat--lol! 😅 By no means do I mean that in a bad way! You eat healthy well balanced meals and exercise regularly and are both in great shape! And I enjoy watching Kelly cook. I'm just wowed that you can eat those big portions!
I'm with you on that. One of their portions would feed me for a few days.
Kellie, you look like you enjoy cooking, especially new recipes. I think you would enjoy some Mediterranean dishes, if you're able to make them. My favorite dish is chicken blackened on the grill with a combination of spices (garlic powder, s&p, cummin, cloves, all spice, onion powder, turmeric), then I make jasmine rice with turmeric and garlic powder. Then get some thin pitas and make a garlic mayonnaise with sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, garlic powder. Then make some wraps or bowls with toppings of green onions or red onions, tomatoes, baby cucumbers and shredded romaine. Great flavor and lighter feeling in stomach afterwards. Can grill steak strips too the same way. Or fish.

We keep saying this will/should be the last cold front. Woke up in AZ to 2" of snow. Heading to Las Vegas area. We did love Palo Duro Canyon, just south of Amarillo, TX. Great spot to avoid some weather down in the canyon.
Nice Spring Break! love using that Miso paste with beef. Just a table spoon full or so of the Miso paste, some cheap Sake, and add what ever you like from there...black pepper, cayenne, garlic,chopped green onion...and mix it all together in a bowl. Yeah my mom always use the Skillet tour bread or cheese with bread on at all at or pancakes or anything she always use the skillet it don't take that long with a skillet either make sure you put a little bit of butter or something on it if someone hanging on like butter or anyting

You had a beautiful perfect day! This is the time of the year when the difference in latitude and altitude is almost shocking. Spring is trying to start here in UT, but we've had snow, hail, rain and sun off and on all day every day this week! Now we are in for night time lows in the teens for a few days. Vacuuming bugs!! It wasn't your cedar platform in your shower that caused the crack in the shower base. We have a 2017 and have always used the plastic insert. It has broken twice in the same place as yours. It's likely just fatigue. There is barely anything under it for support. The first time we had it replaced under warranty. This time we will be changing it ourselves and will remove the foam strips between the shower pan and aluminum framing and will replace it with a continuous piece of plywood. Doing this will ensure the entire shower pan is supported and not just where it touches the aluminum framing.

That is a plastic shower, correct? You can weld that crack easily with a cheap soldering iron. If you need to see how, let me know and I will find the video I found the best. Welding plastic has saved me lots of money and very easy to do.

Easier way to catch bugs, spray them with Windex. They will drop and you just pick them up with tissue or something.
I have that tape in my bathroom sink and it's very tough and it's been there for months just as strong and solid as it was the day I put it on. Also, wanted to say I'm sick today, bad chest cold, maybe bronchittus, it's raining outside. Opening your video to you guys cooking breakfast was so nice. To Larry's defense- as a native Texan I think the stories of being fined if you pick a bluebonnet is a tale that's been handed down generation to generation. My 7 year old came home a couple of weeks ago telling me she learned in school if you pick a Bluebonnet, you'll go to jail lol. Maybe we're just a little protective of our state flower.
It likely would have been just as quick and easy to properly patch that Crack. Why do the same repair twice? Call the manufacturer and ask what product to use to make the repair. Simple.
BTW, we have 140,000 miles on our 2001 diesel pusher, bought new on 2001. I am 84.
