Hello, do you have any article that talks about how to view a table through the MSD Add-In Excel connector? I created an entity but I don't see it within the Add-in tables. Thank you very much for all your articles

    Hi Peter,
I want to add this newly created data entity into a different environment. Example: I have created a data entity in a Dev environment and i want to use it outside the VM (i want to use it in the cloud-hosted environment)
Outside the VM, i don't have this data entity, so how do i export data entity?

There are a few different ways. You can copy the xm file found in the k drives packages local directory folder over to the destination environment. There is an .xml for every object you create. And so it can be moved or copied.
Typically developers will check in their code to source control which essentially uploads these xml files to a server in the cloud. And then developers will do a ‘get latest’ on the destination environment to sync that file down to that environment.
The third option is you can export and import a package. I’ll see if I can write a tutorial on how to do that.
